Check out this thought-provoking and inspiring article from Mitch Resnick. The two pieces from the article that resonated most with me are: “I hope that the four P’s of Projects, Passion, Peers and Play will lead to an all-important fifth P: Peace. If children have opportunities to work on creative projects as part of a caring community, they will be more likely to generate waves of kindness and contribute to a world that is more equitable, more just, and more peaceful.” And “First, we need to engage the next generation. Second, we must work together to foster a culture of creativity and caring.” This is beautiful. I love how the article ties everything together from the past several decades of work at the MIT Media Lab's Lifelong Kindergarten Group with what is needed in the future. Simply beautiful. #Creativity #Caring #Kindness #Projects #Passion #Peers #Play #Peace #Edchat #EdTech #K12 #education #coding #programming #CS #CSK12 #CSForAll
Cultivating Communities of Creativity and Caring! I just finished an edited transcript of my presentation for the proceedings: https://lnkd.in/eA3i5jty
