AdoptAClassroom.org and our partner Subaru of America were recently featured in Diversity in Ed magazine. The magazine highlighted our work to bridge the resource gap in education and help students and teachers nationwide. We appreciate Subaru’s dedication to being More Than a Car Company and look forward to continuing to grow the number of students receiving critical supplies that help them succeed in the classroom. A nonprofit fundraising platform for teachers, principals, and administrators to raise money for school supplies.
About us
AdoptAClassroom.org is a national nonprofit that empowers teachers and high-needs schools with the funding they need to equip their classrooms and students for success. Over the past 25 years, as we’ve grown in size; staff, reach, and funds raised for classrooms, the need to support teachers and students has continued to grow as well. According to our 2023 survey, teachers out-of-pocket spending has reached an all-time high, with teachers spending an average of $860 a year on supplies to equip their classrooms and students. Every student deserves the opportunity for a quality education, regardless of their economic circumstances. Education is a path out of generational poverty and foundational for healthy and strong communities.Teachers work hard to ensure each of their students have the tools they need to thrive in school, but they need our help. AdoptAClassroom.org makes it easy for individuals and corporate sponsors to donate to classrooms in need in any community throughout the U.S. To date, AdoptAClassroom.org has raised more than $65 million dollars, supported more than a quarter of a million classrooms, and equipped more than 6.4 million students with the supplies they need to succeed in school.. Our 501(c)(3) organization holds the highest 4-star rating from Charity Navigator and the highest transparency rating offered by Candid/GuideStar. As Lifestyle Director at RHP Properties, Allison Sucher manages programs that enhance their communities' quality of life, including their long-term partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org. Several times a year, RHP adopts schools in their communities nationwide. They intentionally choose schools that students in their communities attend. RHP employees often visit these schools to surprise teachers with their generous donations. Allison said, “These moments provide a unique opportunity to acknowledge the essential role teachers play in shaping our communities and to give them the resources they need to continue making a difference.” Thank you to Allison and the entire team at RHP for investing in your communities.

MAGNA-TILES®’ SVP of Marketing Michael Scheffki credits the AdoptAClassroom.org partnership with helping the company “connect with schools and communities where we can make a real difference.” Since 2022, MAGNA-TILES has worked with AdoptAClassroom.org to support early childhood education classrooms at high-needs schools. In addition to providing each teacher with flexible funding to purchase the supplies they need most, MAGNA-TILES gifts each classroom with MAGNA-TILES kits to promote play-based learning. Thank you to Mike and his team for their hard work and dedication to young learners.
