The magazine highlighted our work to bridge the resource gap in education and help students and teachers nationwide. As Lifestyle Director at RHP Properties, Allison Sucher manages programs that enhance their communities' quality of life, including their long-term partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org. Several times a year, RHP adopts schools in their communities nationwide. They intentionally choose schools that students in their communities attend. RHP employees often visit these schools to surprise teachers with their generous donations. Allison said, “These moments provide a unique opportunity to acknowledge the essential role teachers play in shaping our communities and to give them the resources they need to continue making a difference.” Thank you to Allison and the entire team at RHP for investing in your communities. 

For over five years, Amy Wood has led Burlington Stores, Inc.’s partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org. Her collaborative spirit and strategic mind have contributed greatly to the program’s continued success, supporting more than 1.4 million students.    Burlington annually raises funds to support classrooms in their store communities nationwide. Additionally, in celebration of each new store opening, Burlington adopts a neighborhood high-needs school, equipping students with the essential supplies they need to thrive in the classroom.

MAGNA-TILES®’ SVP of Marketing Michael Scheffki credits the AdoptAClassroom.org partnership with helping the company “connect with schools and communities where we can make a real difference.” Since 2022, MAGNA-TILES has worked with AdoptAClassroom.org to support early childhood education classrooms at high-needs schools. In addition to providing each teacher with flexible funding to purchase the supplies they need most, MAGNA-TILES gifts each classroom with MAGNA-TILES kits to promote play-based learning. Greta Jorgensen has worked on June Co. - Mosquito Inc | West Emory's ‘school supplies with spirit’ brand, Best Year Ever, since its conception in 2020. Shortly after its development, the Best Year Ever team decided their product line could do a lot of good. In 2021, the Best Year Ever brand teamed up with AdoptAClassroom.org to donate 5% of all sales* to classrooms in need. To date, their initiative has raised more than $60,000 to help teachers provide their students with essential supplies.
