German climate technology startup Cloover raised $114 million in debt and equity during a seed funding round led by Chris Sacca’s Lowercarbon Capital, with additional investments from 9900 Capital and QED. Cloover’s technology enables smaller companies involved in renewable installations to offer a complete value chain service, including tracking customers, providing financing, and selling multiple products like solar panels, energy storage, and heat pumps. “The mass market customer would like to have a worry-free solution where they just pay less per month than what they paid before and with what we offer now any smaller installer can offer that package,” said Jodok Betschart, co-founder and co-CEO of Cloover. #ClimateTech #RenewableEnergy #GreenFinance #CleanEnergy #SustainableInnovation #StartupFunding #LowercarbonCapital #EnergyEfficiency #SolarPower #GreenInvestment #TechForGood #Sustainability #EuropeanMarket #EnergyTransition #CleantechStartup #RenewableSolutions

The funding round was led by Transition, with participation from Seedcamp and Neptunia Invest. While the European solar ☀️ sector is booming - with a 40% growth 📈 year-over-year in 2022 and 2023 - software solutions that allow real estate owners, managers and installers to profitably scale their investments have lagged behind. Until now! Volter bridges this gap by streamlining rooftop solar ☀️ deployment, management, and optimisation across multiple sites. Since our launch in 2024, we’ve secured major real estate 🏠 clients and are gearing up for ambitious growth in 2025. The pre-seed funding will be used to: ✅ further build out our product offerings ✅ expand our customer base ✅ launch operations in a new European market ✅ expand into new energy services, including becoming a platform for batteries Join us on the journey to accelerate solar energy generation for real estate! www.getvolter.com Thanks to our incredible team, investors and angels. Synergi, a Finnish startup, has just raised €2 million in Seed funding to fuel its mission of driving the energy transition with smart solutions. The round was led by several strategic investors who see immense potential in Synergi’s technology to help meet the growing demand for sustainable energy management. Founded by Antti Hämmäinen, CEO and co-founder, Synergi focuses on developing smart energy solutions that optimize energy use, enhance grid efficiency, and support the transition to renewable energy sources. As industries and governments worldwide face increasing pressure to reduce carbon emissions, Synergi is stepping up to provide the necessary tools for this transition. With this funding, Synergi plans to expand its product offerings and grow its market presence across Europe. The startup’s platform is designed to address the key challenge of balancing energy demand and supply while integrating renewables like wind and solar into existing grids. The core problem Synergi aims to solve? How to make energy systems smarter, more resilient, and efficient while accelerating the shift to clean energy. Here’s the billion-dollar question: Can Synergi’s smart energy solutions scale fast enough to support the global energy transition and drive a more sustainable future? If they succeed, they could play a pivotal role in shaping the world’s energy landscape. Do you believe smart energy management is the key to a successful energy transition? B.
