I was once asked about the importance of on-the-job training. From my experience, it's incredibly beneficial, especially for new recruits( using an example about the airline new recruits). Here’s why: Real Experience: It provided a genuine feel of working at the airport, beyond the glamour. Understanding Realities: Recruits experienced long hours, early and late shifts, and irregular patterns. Diverse Interactions: They navigated different passengers with varying cultures and expectations. Service Excellence: Emphasis on delivering excellent service while adhering to safety and security standards. Learning on the Job: Classroom training can’t cover everything—real insights come from on-the-job experiences.
