It is really saddening when companies have 0 #accountability. DTDC has turned off their comment section because customers ask for update they have not received. Last week, we received a very large order and our team rallied to have it dispatched using the "premium" day assured delivery from DTDC Express Limited. We paid 3x of the regular amount and were assured 2 day delivery. Alas, it is 6 days later and they have still not delivered the same. Their customer care is just short of abusive, their executives on ground cavalier and rather rude and the company overall unreachable. We have garnered a huge loss due to the lack of answers from #DTDC. I normally am not one for calling out bad behaviour in business but this is out right exploitation. #logistics #badcustomerservice

It fills me is sadness to have to come back and post here again. DTDC Express Limited even after 2 weeks, countless email and unanswered customer care calls - there is no resolution. Not only did the company's lapse in delivery basic services but also made fake "day assured" promises for which we, the customer, paid 3x premium. Monetary loss caused by the delay is something that we an eventually recoup but what about the loss of goodwill? We demand a resolution and reimbursement for the damages. #accountability #badcustomerservice

But with the right people - those who bring positivity - you’ll feel motivated and energized. In my previous venture, we once had a client who was a major financial institution. Their project manager constantly harassed our team, crossing boundaries for the urgency of project delivery. I understand client timelines are important, and we respect our clients’ needs. But when this project manager started using abusive language with one of our female team members, I’d had enough. We reached out to their senior team, who assured us it wouldn’t happen again. But, as these situations often go, the pattern repeated itself. So we took a stand: if they weren’t willing to change the project manager, we wouldn’t work with them anymore. Despite the revenue we’d lose, protecting my team’s mental well-being was more important than any account. At my current venture GreyLabs AI, I applied the same principle when we received a lead from a large financial conglomerate. We’d worked with them in the past and knew they often mistreated their service providers and delayed payments. Rather than pursue a stressful partnership, I told my team to pass the lead to competitors who might be more suited for it. As a founder, I hold my team’s mental energy and well-being just as highly as my own. Negative clients, no matter their size, create a toxic environment. And if you let that kind of energy into your workspace, it impacts everyone’s motivation and productivity. In business, it’s natural to think that every lead or every client matters. But some clients come at too high a cost. When you prioritize a positive work culture, you’re not only protecting your team - you’re ensuring you have the energy and focus to build something great.
