Mercuri’s Post

✨ Thank You to Everyone Who Joined Our Women in AI Breakfast! From Mercuri - Esha Vatsa Hannah Green and Ella Hughes What a fantastic morning we had yesterday hosting our Women in AI Breakfast event with over 100 people in attendance!!  A big thank you to our incredible panellists, our very own Anna Jones as moderator, and guests Emma Burrows, Shiri Mosenzon Erez, Lindsey Jayne, and Noa Havazelet.  Thank you all for sharing your expertise and valuable insights on building AI products responsibly and growing AI companies. Key Takeaways from the Discussion: 🔨 On how to build with GenAI.  Be very sure you have a user need.  Don’t stick cool tech in but rather make sure how reliably the emerging use cases address that user need.  📈 On AI trends.  We shouldn’t see a dramatic increase in model size with parameters exploding but rather see a shift in focus to building on top of these models.  Emerging reflection capabilities will result in increasing accuracy and complexity of tasks that can be completed.  There will be an explosion in the application and software layers instead. 💰 On how to sell to enterprise customers.  Identify clear KPIs you can move for your prospects.  Think about what technology infrastructure you have and why your prospects can’t build it in-house?  Tech robustness and security will be key from the get-go and as a start-up you should show that the means to address them at the right stage. It was great to see so many familiar faces in the room and connect with new people in this growing community of women in AI. What would you like to see at the next Women in AI event?
