❓ How many phases does the ESIRA project consist of? 👉 The ESIRA project consists of four phases: Preparing the ground; Operating innovation spaces; Creating Rural labs; Maximizing impacts. 📚 During the first phase, the project entails the establishment of multi-actor platforms across eight countries, identifying vulnerable groups in rural areas, and commencing economic initiatives. 🧑🎓 In the second phase, innovation spaces are established and operated. 🏫 The third phase focuses on creating rural labs to provide assistance to vulnerable groups, as well as conducting monitoring and evaluation activities. 💡 The fourth and final phase aims to maximize the impacts of the project, which includes providing policy recommendations, ensuring long-term sustainability, raising awareness, and disseminating results. 📌 This week, ESIRA Project partners came together online for a dynamic meeting with ambitious plans for the months ahead. The meeting was productive, focusing on evaluating progress and future initiatives. 👉 To date, the ESIRA team has successfully established three Multi-Actor Platforms (MAPs), setting the stage for new collaborative actions. 📅 Next months promise even more excitement with the anticipated launch of new MAPs and the continuation of vital activities on the existing ones. 🌍 Meet the European Rural Development Network (ERDN) team! 👉 Their role in the ESIRA project is to develop a common methodology for setting up and operating local Multi-Actor Platforms (MAPs) in project case studies. ERDN will co-design guidelines with partners, provide support materials for MAP managers, and facilitate online communication tools for effective collaboration. 👥 Additionally, ERDN oversees the training, monitoring, and evaluation of MAPs, organizing workshops for MAP managers and collecting regular performance reports. 💡 Read more about ERDN below! 📣We are ready to pilot project solutions! The year 2025 will start effectively for the eRural resilience - Interreg BSR project – Methodology for Supporting e-bio-Business Launching as the Solution 2 is being prepared and will be finalised in February. The objective of the Solution 2 is to facilitate our target groups – business development organisations and municipalities – process of moving the local businesses into e-bio-businesses, develop new products and accelerate digitalization. ‼️Piloting starts in spring 2025! Also, 9 business support centres or municipalities will test the Methodology for Assessment of e-bio-business promoters as the Solution1 during January – May. Testing process covers ✅self-evaluation, in order to create a baseline for the application of later improvements in the organizations.
