As we continue March, Women’s History month, I am delighted to share my conversation with the Queen of #salesenablement Stephanie White 🩵 Stephanie is a cheerleader📣 for women all the time, not just March. She shares many insights and techniques we can adopt as women to lean in. ➡️Having difficult conversations ➡️Speaking up ➡️Becoming more curious and ➡️Tapping into our inner child. Something happens as we get older, we move further away from our inner child and adopt a layer of learned helplessness. We question ourselves, our abilities and may play small. Stephanie shares the importance of reframing, how can we see our failures as lessons learned rather than play a damaging message over and over in our heads. Can we stack our wins, so over time we start seeing our strengths, increasing our self belief and get a sense of what is important to us. ✅Our Purpose ✅Our why ✅Who we are becoming. This gives us clues that will help us choose a path and a unique role in sales. Most are not this intentional. Aligning our personality, our strengths and the things that light us up with our position and our company. Tune in tomorrow, this is a deep and meaningful conversation that will provide a roadmap to your future success and #selfawareness .

Who is the highest paid keynote speaker in the world? You might assume it is motivational speaker Tony Robbins or basketball legend Magic Johnson, as both routinely command more than $250,000 for a one-hour talk. But the person’s name who tops the list, having delivered a single talk in Germany for a whopping $750,000 last year, might surprise you: Michelle Obama. Why does she command such high respect and such a big speaking fee? Consider her recent 2024 Democratic National Convention speech, which was a masterclass in genuine, impactful communication. She manages to be both powerful and relatable—a rare combination in today's deeply divided and contentious political landscape. Here are three non-obvious reasons why her words resonate so deeply: She speaks as a citizen first, politician second. Without the burden of running for office, her motivations feel pure and unquestionable. She leads with humanity, embracing her many roles as mother, daughter, and woman. Her identity shapes her message, not the other way around. She strikes an emotional chord without being overly emotional. This delicate balance is incredibly difficult to achieve, especially given the unfair standards placed on women in the spotlight. Perhaps the most telling testament to Mrs. Obama's impact came from her husband. As former President Barack Obama took the stage, he quipped, "I am the only person stupid enough to speak after Michelle Obama," a humorous acknowledgment of what we all witnessed—a speaker at the height of her powers, connecting with her audience as few others can. In a world that too often fails to recognize or reward world-shifting talent when it comes from a woman, it’s a beautiful thing to see Mrs. Obama get paid for her abilities. Today happens to be the National Day of Encouragement… a holiday dreamed up by kids nearly 15 years ago who were reacting to a world in which they didn’t see enough encouragement from others in their lives. Now more than ever, we need to build one another up. Encourage each other. You can do that in your daily life, or from the stage like Michelle Obama. Her blend of hope, realism, and call-to-action is one we can all learn from. And clearly it is one event planners see so much value in, some are willing to pay $750k for their audiences to hear it.

Happy International Women’s Day! Today, I want to shine a spotlight on Amy Travers, my incredible colleague, friend, and mentor. Her unwavering support and uplifting spirit have made a profound impact on my career. Here’s why Amy deserves all the applause: Promoter Extraordinaire: Amy doesn’t just celebrate her own victories; she’s the ultimate cheerleader for everyone around her. Last month, I had the honor of working with leaders of WISE Women, an affinity group, hundreds-strong at American Institutes for Research (AIR) that advances evidence to improve lives. The topic of my keynote to them? CONFIDENCE! *** Now I think of CONFIDENCE as a verb, not a noun. But I learned this the hard way. Years ago, after a panic attack in a hotel room the night before a talk (with Josh Gosfield for 250 executive coaches!), I realized, I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *** So how did I become a more confident speaker? I used a simple framework I call the Confidence ABC’s. (And pssst … it works on everything!) —I set an ASPIRATION —I BUILT the necessary skills, one step at a time —No matter the results, I showed myself COMPASSION (Self hugs help!) *** Is there an area in your life where you want to be more confident? Share in the comments! *** Shout Out to: *All the WISE Women of American Institutes for Research (AIR) who shared their confidence aspirations and workshopped the Confidence ABC's! Including Kelly Burello, Selma Kalousek, Kirsten Rohde, Wanda Wright, Elizabeth Belyea, and many more! *Elaine D’Farley - Creative Director Extraordinaire who helped create my Confidence ABC’s Slide Deck (I've included a slide from the keynote in the comments below) #confidence #confidencebuilding #publicspeaking #publicspeakingskills

I am a little bit late to the party but, LOOK AT THIS! A beautiful profile the female factor created for the nominees as "Voice for a New Era of Leaders". Recently someone asked me “Were you already born this courageous and confident?” I was laughing really hard. The truth is: I was a scared little girl who grew into an insecure teenager who realized at the age of 37 that nobody is perfect and that courage isn´t something you wait to feel. It is a conscious decision you make. And it all starts with embracing your vulnerability and loving who you truly are. When I finally realized that EVERYBODY has something heavy to carry, I learned to turn my vulnerability into a source of strength first for my corporate career and later my own business. In a picture-perfect world that wants you to believe everybody is doing great and they have it all figured out, I strongly feel it is time for some real talk! 👉 On November 11 at 5PM CET (Berlin) / 11AM EST (Toronto), I am hosting a powerful roundtable conversation with 4 incredible female leaders and founders: 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗙𝗧 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗧 5 female leaders on how being vulnerable positions you for promotions, pay raises and sustainable career growth! If ✅You are pushing hard in your career and putting in a lot of hours just to find out that things still aren´t going your way ✅You are tired of yet again being bypassed when it’s time for that next high-level job or promotion ✅A part of you knows and feels that you deserve so much more in your career, then you should definitely join us! Sign up w/ the link in the first comment 👇 I don´t charge for my roundtables but I have an ask…if you know of a woman who could benefit from this discussion, tag her in the comments or forward this post! Are you in?

“What’s your dream speaking engagement?” Sara Bannat and I had lunch together recently to catch up and pour into one another as we often do. While discussing our future plans, she asked me the question above and I truly had to stop and think. 💭TEDX ☀️Good Morning America 🎤Conferences with tens of thousands of attendees All on my bucket list but there’s one stage that not many think of. Congress. I don’t care if I sound “delulu” like the kids say. 👵🏾 I WANT TO CHANGE THE WORLD. That doesn’t happen without collaborating with people who have the power to help me do so. Now I can’t exactly explain HOW or WHY I will speak in front of congress; outside of the mission to transform the way online businesses are started and scaled. Until then… I’m so honored and EXCITED to be leading some amazing future change makers with Junior Achievement of Dallas, Inc. at their BOLD summit next week. Over 100+ young women will be led through a vision exercise with me that ignites them to speak on the stages of their dreams. Whether that’s… In a board room, At the PTA, To their patients, Or whatever that looks like for them. #changemakers #womeninspiringwomen #publickspeaker _________ Hi, I’m Shampaigne your go to expert for the buying behavior of women. When I started my business with just $20, it was strategic relationships with women that allowed me to start and stay in business. I knew that female focused organizations could use these same methods to create authentic relationships with their partners and customers. Knowing that marketing and sales departments are the heart of a business; I work with these teams through a series of speaking workshops and trainings. I was amazed coming face to face with this sign… because it is one of the simplest yet most powerful principles I learned throughout my career‼️ Commit No Nuisance. It was on a very small, side door on The Clock Tower in St Albans. But how does it relate to the world of business❓ Well - it serves as a great reminder to the below:- ✅ Add value in every interaction ✅ Be clear, direct and respectful when engaging with others ✅ Do not overwhelm or confuse your audience I’ve seen it so many times people rushing their words, tripping over themselves, cramming too much information (to the point where they forget to breathe!!!), not giving others a chance to speak, going on and on and on (see what I did just now 😉) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️KEY LESSON ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 💯 When you are secure in your message, you don’t need to flood with information or push too hard. You simply engage with purpose. When you #communicate with #confidence every word has impact. Every interaction builds trust. Remember - commit no nuisance - make your message matter.
