A recent study by McKinsey found that the average life-span of companies listed in Standard & Poor's 500 was 61 years in 1958. Today, it is less than 18 years, with nearly 50% failing in the first 5 years…jumping to 80% before year 20. Today Property Masters Inc celebrated our 20th year in business (6/14/2004) with a little party @ our HQ!!! 🥳 The rest of the team was there in spirit! We kicked off the celebration with mouthwatering eats from Rusty Taco. Shoutout to Mia and Morgan for their incredible service—they made sure everyone was happily fueled for the evening ahead. Then came the real fun: our White Elephant gift exchange. Let’s just say our team knows how to bring the laughs! From a bottle of Snoop Dogg wine and cookbook to a hot dog and bun cooker (yes, really!), and a Crooked Pint gift card that had everyone scheming to “steal,” the creativity was next-level. But the MVP gift? Lottery tickets! Who knew a scratch-off could spark so much excitement? The cherry on top of the evening was gathering on the stairs for a group portrait. 🎄 When it comes to Christmas…is it ever too early? 🎄   Almost half of respondents, in a recent survey by Musgrave Marketplace, said they were more than happy to see decorations up in restaurants and bars as early as possible. However, sentiment changed when asked about putting up your Christmas decorations at home, with 75% of people believing you should wait until at least December 1st.    The survey revealed some interesting festive trends: 🎅 Turkey & Ham : 51% of people said they would enjoy turkey and ham up to three times before Christmas Day with 16% saying it would be on more than three occasions. However, one in three people surveyed said they would only eat the traditional fayre on Christmas Day 🎁 Christmas Preparations: Just over half of those surveyed at the beginning of November had started their Christmas shopping while 54% already had Christmas night outs planned.    It is no doubt the busiest time of the year for the hospitality and foodservice industry and our teams across Musgrave MarketPlace are working closely with our customers to ensure the Christmas season is celebrated in style.
