Want to see behind the curtain of the world's most famous festival? The ROSTR Group presents the 5th edition of 'Who Booked Coachella': the agencies, labels, management and data behind next year's lineup in the desert. Some highlights: ⭐ CAA swept all 3 headliners - the first time that's happened in our 5 years doing this. ⭐ Wasserman booked the most artists (again) ⭐ 135(!) different management companies rep the lineup. Three Six Zero and partners have the most artists (7) ⭐ Female artist share fell 2% to 26% of the lineup, the third consecutive decline ⭐ Indie/Alt/Rock has a mini-resurgence. Tbh, the announcement caught us by surprise so we'll be pushing more analysis and charts to tomorrow's New Industry Friday. Until then, what data jumps out at you? #musicindustry #coachella #festivals #infographic #talentagencies

CAA in the Misfits font is a touch 👏
I look forward to these posts every time I see a lineup. I am not surprised but disappointed at the drop in female artist representation. I feel like a lot of the demographic info took a massive step back this year.
also, 60% of the artists are indie vs. major label.
Love the continued increase of festival share for “Indie” artists. Have Electronic artists lost share in main billings this year? Outside Zedd and Above and Beyond, Edm artists seem very thin. Looking forward to Tinlicker though.
Do you happen to know why it dropped so early this year and if other festivals will also be announcing lineups earlier than usual?
Fascinating to see CAA locking in all three headliners this year—an impressive feat! The decline in female artist representation to 26% is concerning and definitely worth more discussion. On another note, it's exciting to see genres like Indie/Alt/Rock making a comeback, but I’m curious about the role Dance/EDM continues to play in shaping Coachella's identity. With so many global acts in this space, it’ll be interesting to see how it balances with these genre shifts.
Once again, the CAA logo being in the misfits font might be my favorite detail from any piece of social content this month, bravo and brilliantly done as always!
Music itself, Stylistically, that lineup by headline is 70s/80s/90s with just a sniff of the 2000s
