📚 🗝 Education is the key to unlocking endless opportunities. Regular attendance to school is crucial to laying the foundation to success. Here's why: 💡 Consistency breeds success: Showing up consistently allows you to stay engaged, grasp concepts effectively and build a solid understanding of the subject matter. 💡 Establishing good habits: By prioritising attendance you cultivate discipline and responsibility, qualities that are not only vital in academics but also in all aspects of life. 💡 Maximise learning opportunities: Every day in school presents a chance to learn something new, engage in discussions and collaborate with peers. Don't miss out! 💡 Build relationships: School is not just about academics; it's also about forming connections with teachers and classmates. These relationships can provide support, guidance and networking opportunities in the future. Remember, each day a student attends school is an investment in their future success! Here are some strategies that are working to support attendance improvement 👇 #attendance #attendancematters #improvingoutcomes
It's #BackToSchool for many teachers and pupils today! Being in school is vital for improving young people's education, but also for their wellbeing and development. Every day a child misses school means approximately 6 hours of learning that they can't get back. Hear how the leadership team at Samuel Ryder Academy in St Albans are supporting pupils to get the most from their time at secondary school 👇

Here's to our Scout Association paving the way for the educators of tomorrow! 🌟 With their innovative approach of developing badges aimed at inspiring young boys aged 14-18 to explore careers in education, they're igniting a passion for teaching from a young age. Pairing adventure with academia, these badges offer a unique pathway for scouts to discover the joy and impact of teaching. By engaging in activities that promote leadership, communication, and mentoring skills, these young scouts are not only learning but also becoming inspired advocates for education. And let's not forget the invaluable partnership with organisations like Class People and the DWP, who are tirelessly working to ensure that every young person, regardless of background, knows that a career in education is within reach. Together, they're not just handing out badges; they're handing out opportunities, dreams, and a brighter future for education. Let's cheer them on as they continue to shape the next generation of educators! 📚👨🏫 #InspiringEducators #ScoutLeadersOfTomorrow #EducationForAll

Capturing moments of leadership in action: Year 12 BTEC Sport students embracing their roles as sports leaders. This isn’t just curriculum delivery; it’s about offering a holistic experience where students grow through volunteering and mentoring younger peers. Watching these students guide Year 1 learners in developing fundamental skills, like sending and receiving a ball, highlights the rewarding side of sports education. It’s incredible to see the mutual growth, confidence, and fulfillment they gain—not only through mastering theory but by applying it in real-life scenarios. Proud to lead a course that goes beyond textbooks and exams, fostering skills that stay with them far beyond school.

How do you define a great school? Which factor do you consider the most important as a parent, as an edupreneur, and as a concerned citizen? Is it a strong brand identity, or is it infrastructure, curriculum, staff, or overall learning environment? Or perhaps, as Lenka might put it, it is “everything at once”. In our School Leaders Summit (SLS) held recently, we encouraged our franchise partners to cast votes for the same. Though I won’t be sharing the election results yet, it is exciting to know what you would have voted for when talking about what makes a school truly great. #DirectorsMeet #SchoolLeadersSummit #SLS #Bachpan #AHPS #ElectionResults #Education #BrandIdentity #Vote #GetInvolved

💡 So good to see the impact of extra-curricular clubs and Student Leadership at school - here's the result of the two combined. A meeting at school with your local MP and then a Rye College (Aquinas) Press Club news article written and published in a local news outlet! 🗞️ With an increased focus on developing employability skills, this is a great example of fostering competencies through both academic and enrichment programmes, for life beyond school and in the workplace. 🌟 https://lnkd.in/eXGCqJW2

Have you ever gone to a sports game or match where one team seems to be very athletic and skilled at the sport while the other team struggles to compete? After a while as the score widens the team that is struggling to compete gives up and just goes through the motions. That is what happens to our youth competing in the ‘everybody goes to college’ education policy. They see some students having success but as hard as they try, they just cannot find success in the classroom. After awhile these students learn that the system is not set up for them and they mentally drop out of school. In the end when our youth give up on education they give up on themselves and our society. We must scrap the cheap, simple model of standardized testing and develop multiple education models that provide educational success to all. #educationalleadership #studentsuccess #communities Education Reimagined NC Business Committee for Education Institute for Educational Leadership
