How can India become more startup-friendly? Here’s my take: #TechWrapIndia #LinkedInNewsIndia Startups have a real challenges on survival. Market access support is very important. A new born child cannot run but over a period of time, he can start walking and after some time start running and then even faster and participate in races. Start ups also need the support of not only industry but also Government policies. Just last week, a real story of a Start Up came to my notice. They have more than 10 patents in India, USA and even China but did not get anticipated support from the Government and industry who could have provided mentor support. Result is last week end they even lost their last employee. One can come up with Innovations, do successful R&D but for survival you need money and orders also to survive. Initial 3 to 5 years need more support like a new born child needs parent support. Many Start-ups after initial period can even challenge the global giants also. Just policy announcements for Start-ups is not adequate but more support at initial start journey is required. 6G, AI, Encryption, Secured communication may be some areas where many Start-ups may be entering. Academia also can play an active role. Private sector also can play a helping hand as after success, they will also reap the benefit of success. Higher funding and then market access support are keys for any success.

Interesting. India on top. Given the huge development and training costs, probably the best course of action is to focus on applications. #GenAI 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 (through its young workforce, vibrant startups, and rapid adoption of transformative technologies.)
