Indian Institute of Science (IISc) inviting applications for #internship CeNSE Summer Internship Program Application #CENSE, #SUMMERPROGRAM #SUMMERINTERNSHIP #INTERNSHIP #SUMMERSCHOOL #iisc #iiscbangalore Starting from 2013, the #centre conducts a #training #program every summer, for promising #Undergraduate and #Masters students from #India and #abroad, selected through a rigorous and competitive process. The training is primarily based on the facilities available at CeNSE, and covers a variety of #research topics under the broad umbrella of #nano #science and #engineering. The training program will be of 8-10 weeks duration. The scholarship paid to the eligible candidates would be Rs 5000/month. 👷♀️👷📚CONNECTING FUTURES: EXCITING VENTURES WITH UNIVERSITY POLITEHNICA OF BUCHAREST From April 18th to April 20th, we participated in #Polifest, an event organized by the University Politehnica of Bucharest. Over these three days, we had the pleasure of interacting with numerous students, each displaying a keen interest in joining our company or undertaking internships with us. Additionally, we engaged in discussions with several professors eager to explore #collaboration opportunities and maintain ongoing connections with us. Following our participation, we identified three main branches of the university that are of particular interest to us: #FIIR (Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Robotics), #SET (Thermal Systems and Equipment), and #EPI (Equipment for Industrial Processes). For interested students, we have exciting opportunities lined up, including #internships with opportunities for students to rotate between various departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of our operations; #laboratory tours to provide them with firsthand insights into our work, and company #presentation at the university targeting final-year students. This collaboration with the University Politehnica of Bucharest has provided valuable insights on how to better connect with students and professors and enhance our appeal to them. I learned the University and Ministry of Education went back on their word, yet again🤦 A few days ago, I attended a networking session for students to connect with companies at SDU Sønderborg - University of Southern Denmark with Schneider Electric 🙋 Looking for a career opportunity can be quite frustrating, especially as a student trying to prove your worth, and I can relate to that. So, when I heard that the new Software Engineering program in Sønderborg does not include an internship in its curriculum, it made my blood boil. It’s still boiling today 😡 The government and industry continue wanting well-educated engineers in all types and manners, yet they take away the exact thing that gives them that experience and crucial knowledge. It blows my mind 🤯 I can personally say that my 20-week internship taught me more than the 6 semesters of education I completed. If I had the chance, I would pursue another internship!🧑💻 When attending university, students are taught HOW to learn and cover some core principles. However, the actual experience in the industry will be quite a shock to them if they do not have that internship. To cultivate better, smarter, and overall excellent engineers, we need to provide them with the opportunity to learn from actual companies in their field of study!📚 #confused #softwareengineering #networking #students #internship #frustrated

Today, I had the privilege of presenting our IOT projects and Final Year Projects to the esteemed panel from the Pakistan Engineering Council. The panel, which included the Chairman of the Department of Electrical Engineering from COMSAT's Abbottabad Campus and the University of Sargodha, commended our dedication, evident through our 7+ titles from National Events and our innovative projects. While GPA holds importance in interviews for some, I advocate for the significance of skills and practical experience. Amid differing opinions, I have been fortunate to secure a paid 8-week internship, followed by another 3-week internship, in addition to working on outsourced projects. Success, in my view, extends beyond personal achievements; it lies in delivering results that validate the investment made by our parents. Unlike peers focused solely on GPA, I have embraced internships and paid projects, prioritizing practical experience over theoretical knowledge gained from lectures. DIGITAL INDIA INTERNSHIP SCHEME 2024 PURPOSE: An #internship is an opportunity for a student to secure first hand and practical work experience under the guidance of a qualified and experienced #Mentor. It also aims at active participation in the learning process through experimentation and putting into practice the knowledge acquired in the classrooms. For the larger benefit of the student community and with a view to enrich the management/implementation of its various schemes/programmes, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has decided to notify these “Internship Guidelines”, to provide a framework for engagement of Interns for a limited period. 2.
