But there are times when influencers and consumers go beyond writing a narrative, and create change. This can go one of either two ways – if brands listen to consumers or influencers and act on the feedback they receive, it can MAKE their marketing stronger. Here’s the misconception: not fully understanding how your product fits into the broader lives of your consumers. Your audience has diverse interests, and they follow creators across different niches. By partnering only with influencers in one narrow category, you lock yourself into tight competition and miss out on fresh, unexpected audiences. Take our client Manta Sleep, for example.
