Trending in 2025… influencer partnerships that MAKE SENSE 👏 We’re leaving uninspired, irrelevant influencer partnerships in 2024, and focusing on using influencers who align with brands, employ the same tone of voice and just make sense. ✨ Already, we’ve seen two great examples of this… What partnerships have you seen since the new year? 🩷 #marketing #socialmedia #marketingcampaigns #socialmediamarketing #celebritypartnerships #influencerpartnerships #midlandsmarketers

The OOH ad that has split opinions this week! Tesco have jumped on board the 'unbranding' bandwagon in their latest campaign by BBH London. They have spelt out "TESCO" in food items to emphasise the supermarket’s focus on quality and fresh food. Now, I don't know if the emphasis on fresh, high quality food is immediately obvious to me, but I did spend time looking at each version to see what items they use for each letter. This did also remind me of a few items to add to my food shop! 🍓 The campaign echoes the concept previously used by British Airways out-of-home ads which only showed a snippet of the brand logo. To some, this also shows the strength of a good logo. You don't need the supermarket name, just the dashes and a nod to food shopping! But others have found it confusing and unclear. Some have suggested that it might be better places at train stations or bus stops where people have more time to ponder the meaning behind it and work out what each item is... What do you think of the ad? #marketing #marketingcampaigns #oohmarketing #oohads #socialmediamarketing #midlandsmarketers

MONDAY MORNING TO DO LIST: 💕 - Struggle to remember your password (as well as anything you did last week) - Drink at least three cups of coffee before checking your emails - Ask everyone about their weekend (so you can tell them all about your girls night out) - Forget how many posts you've scheduled to go out on socials (before remembering you have a content calendar that tells you) - Spend 2 hours scrolling through LinkedIn under the guise of research & networking (really, it's just another mindless social scroll) #midlandsmarketers #socialmediamarketing #marketing #marketingmanager #socialmediamanager #marketingmemes

How consumer listening illustrates the power of social media The whole point of an influencer is to create a narrative around a brand, a product or a service and we see this consistently as we scroll through our timelines. But there are times when influencers and consumers go beyond writing a narrative, and create change. This can go one of either two ways – if brands listen to consumers or influencers and act on the feedback they receive, it can MAKE their marketing stronger. Or, if brand’s don’t listen, a more negative narrative will form and this can really impact their image and ultimately, their sales. #socialmedia #socialmediamanager #socialmediamarketing #marketing #marketingstrategy #rhodemarketing #midlandsmarketers
