Why did you choose to study accounting?

Describe your experiences with networking events at MTSU. What opportunities should students be sure not to miss?
“Join Beta Alpha Psi and take advantage of Meet the Firms and the Beta Alpha Psi Top Golf event. This will give you the most opportunities to secure interviews, explore different firms, and make connections with recruiters and staff. During a few of my interviews, the interviewer mentioned, 'I remember meeting you at Meet the Firms.' Attending these events can make a lasting impression.”
Would you like to speak about the importance of internships and give advice on how to get them?
“Internships are pivotal for experience and could potentially lead to securing a job before you graduate. Interview with as many firms as your schedule allows, even if the firm is not your top choice. The only way to become a more confident interviewee is through consistent practice.”
