🎭 Cloaking is Taking Over iGaming SERPs After Google’s December Update Google’s latest spam update was supposed to clean up search results, but instead, cloaking is making a biggest comeback in the iGaming space. (act surprised 🤯)🚀 Right now, we’re seeing a wave of igaming related sites using tech like geo-targeted cloaking, user-agent switches, and JavaScript-based redirects. Basically, Google gets a clean version of the page, while real users land on pages full of casino offers and bonus deals....and it seems Google isn't handling it well. LoL 🤖🎰🎯 It’s working better and better each day. These sites are ranking high, getting tons of traffic, and most importantly – making money. 💰 Meanwhile, legitimate sites are struggling to keep up, watching their spots on Google slip away. For now, cloaking has taken large chunk of meat 🍗, and it’s changing the SEO landscape in the iGaming industry for sure.

JUST REMEMBER GOOGLE'S HCU RULES ARE NOT AN AGGREGATED REQUIREMENT! You could have 100 signals for helpful content, doesn't mean they are all applied in logic/reasoning. Countless CASINO, BETTING, IGAMING, AFFILIATE SERPS are dominated with utter garbage just because Google is in bed with REDDIT, this has NOTHING to do with being helpful here. This is why 99% of people will GET NOTHING FROM THE GOOGLE LEAK! Because NO ONE, not you, not I, not even Google engineers know how their own ALGOs will compute an outcome. Ranking factors are NOT applied in a linear fashion. SERPS are "LIKELY" randomised to a degree so that machine learning has a better chance of computing positive click outcomes (diversified content). If you were to take away Reddit's overall authority, brand, engagement - it wouldn't have a fraction of the power it does now. BUT we could also argue that REDDIT can in some cases provide a far more unbiased view of things i.e. product reviews (you get a mix of truthful, neutral, negative comments) - this is likely to yield "positive clicks". Either way - there is no GAMING the algo consistently. This is why the BEST SEOS test. They know that what works for one doesn't work for another. #seo #google #seotips

🎲 Thinking about running Google Ads for your online casino? Here's what you need to know to get started! 📜 First and foremost, you must have a gambling license in each country or state you want to target. This is non-negotiable. With the appropriate licenses, you can apply for Google’s gambling certification, which is required for each geographical area you plan to advertise in. 🌍 Each geo-specific certification ensures compliance with local laws and gambling advertising regulations. Make sure the target URL in your ads matches the one on your certification to avoid any hiccups. 🛡️ Compliance doesn’t stop there. Your website and landing pages need to include age restriction notices and information about responsible gambling. This isn’t just a legal requirement; it’s about promoting a safe and trustworthy gaming environment. 🚫 Ignoring these rules can have serious consequences, including ad suspensions or account bans. It's crucial to stay on top of all regulations to keep your campaigns running smoothly. Navigating these regulations can be tricky, but following these steps will help you run a successful and compliant ad campaign. #GoogleAds #OnlineCasino #GamblingCompliance #DigitalMarketing #ResponsibleGambling

If you have this issue in GSC, because Google started to focus on indexing more "short-form" videos from YT and TikTok, or Meta platforms. This is also an example of "cost of retrieval" and balancing your "cost, and quality". For e-commerce websites, try to put videos into the "product-image-carousel" at the top. And, use mark-up for signalling video's prominence on your platform. To learn more: https://lnkd.in/djjC7n4s
