Could not be prouder to have such a gifted, dedicated, enthusiastic and diverse crew of talents in my team, willing to tackle the challenges of tomorrow and working on the solutions to overcome these. What makes this special to me is not only the energy we share during these events and the fun we have while taking such a team picture (believe me: there are more pictures - for insiders only…), but the fact that two decades ago I was one of them and that the tk Talent Management Programme at the time supported me in becoming who I am today. It is therefore a priviledge for me to be able to give something back. The tk Talent Management Programme has primarily the following goals: 1. To support talents in their self-reflection and with 360 degree feedback to identify development fields. 2. To offer the necessary on- and off-the job trainings and hands-on projects to work on these development fields. 3. To offer extensive networking opportunities across the various tk businesses, to share best cases, lessons learned and form a personal bond between tomorrow‘s leaders. 4. To increae visibility of the many talents in our various businesses and offer opportunities to switch business models and functions. And we are doing a great job at this! Why? Ven Raman (Managing Director SEA), Tonmoy Kundu (Head of Global Sales RMS), and Allen Zhang (Head of APAC Sales RMS) graced this meeting. An annual gathering is important because it provides an valuable space to reflect on the past year, align on new strategies, and strengthen our commitment to ambitious goals.⁣ ⁣ Here is my reflection about FY23/24:⁣ ⁣ The past year presented challenges, from a slower-than-expected v-shape recovery in the semiconductor sector to a reduction in public investment for research. Yet, through open and fierce discussions with some of the brightest minds on our team, we successfully navigated these headwinds. Against odds, RMS SEA delivered high single-digit revenue growth, contributing positively to the bottom line.⁣ ⁣ As we look ahead, we need to strategise based on mega-trends and opportunities relevant to SEA. In this VUCA world, it’s crucial to adapt. This year, we’re sharpening our strategy and G2M approach to do exactly that.⁣ ⁣ Strategy is nothing without a reinforced belief and mindset. We’re committed to thinking radically and shaping new markets to reach our Big Hairy Audacious Goals (BHAG).
