Today, at least six people have reached out to me to seek my opinion on this matter. I believe that Mobileye has made the correct decision to dissolve its aftermarket division Mobileye IMS, and there's no room for doubt or second-guessing, especially given Mobileye's current circumstances: the dismal state of its stock price and the trend of many OEMs moving away from Mobileye for higher-level self-driving solutions. For example, Volkswagen Group has gone with Horizon Robotics chips, BMW Group with Qualcomm chips, and Mercedes-Benz AG with NVIDIA chips. In China, the choice is between NVIDIA and Horizon Robotics. I will prepare a special topic next week to analyze NVIDIA's position in China. It is noteworthy that NVIDIA is also soon to be beset on all sides. I've been reflecting on an amazing #SEMA show this year. Now that the dust has settled, here are my top 3 takeaways: 1. Buzz for Revv! 🏆 In the New Product Awards we not only won 1st prize (for Revv ADAS Plus) but also took 2nd prize too (for Revv ADAS Mechanical). 2. Partnerships are the way forward. ⚙️⚙️ Vendors are realizing that they don't have to do everything themselves. It pays dividends co-exist and collaborate with other companies where there is product overlap. Case in point: post-SEMA we've had a lot of interest from companies hoping to partner with us for ADAS training. 3. More traffic than ever.🚦 SEMA felt busier than in recent years - more intent, more energy, more new products and services. Post-Covid, it feels like the industry has fully bounced back! Roll on SEMA 2025!
