#Qatar will soon join the #yachting #race in the #GulfRegion ! I just concluded a 3-day "exploration" trip to the country that I used to frequent three times yearly back in the days. Up until 2016, it was showing steady progress in waterfront projects and real-estate developments completing #ThePearlQatar and #LusailCity. In 2024, and after meeting with Royal families, #Government officials, and industry businessmen, Qatar is staging an unseen and incredible #infrastructure and facility with investment exceeding USD $1.2 billion (with a B)! When I was invited to visit the areas in question, I thought I'll be seeing another sales office with creatives and visual effects, but no..it was actually already done! I was seeing the real deal! Though a lot of it is still under tight wraps, they plan to roll-out the news #verysoon ! I must say that not every one in Qatar seems to be on the same page with the economical climate in the country. I believe that is due to the massive hype and excitement the 2022 FIFA World Cup has created and the void it has left after it was over, which I think is a natural progression that it will adjust and renovate with time. An understanding of your business by solidifying relationships and building new bridges are key to one's success. This trip was to lay the grounds for future industry projects and to grow the yachting agenda in the region. #MovingForward #ShiftingGears #Doha
