In 2022, Dubai International Airport (DXB) maintained its status as the world's busiest international hub for passengers, as per rankings released by the Airports Council International (ACI). The demand for long-haul travel surged, propelling DXB to the top spot once again. Following Dubai, London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Istanbul emerged as the top five busiest hubs by international air traffic, according to the trade association representing nearly 2,000 airports worldwide. DXB, which primarily serves international routes without a domestic market, saw its passenger traffic more than double to 66.1 million in 2022. Luis Felipe de Oliveira, the director general of ACI World, remarked on the significance of these rankings, emphasizing the progress made in returning to pre-pandemic levels despite ongoing challenges. #UAE #Dubai #Airport #Worldbusiestairport #Passengers

What if I told you that you could fly in business or first class without breaking the bank? This, my friends, is the beauty of miles and points. Let's use Qsuites (a Daily Drop favorite) as an example. Qsuites are simply the best business-class seats in the sky. To fly in Qsuites from North America to the Middle East, you would need to spend at least 70,000 Avios or American Airlines miles. While that's not a super bad price, you could fly these seats without using ALL of your points. For example, you could fly on one of Qatar’s shorter Qsuites routes from Doha to Mumbai for just 15,000 Alaska miles (thanks to their newly revamped award chart). But maybe you have suuuuper nice taste and want to fly Emirates first class? First of all, major respect. Second of all, here's how you might go about that: Emirates has a fifth-freedom flight between Bangkok and Hong Kong, and they fly it every single day with an Airbus A380 (the plane with the shower). Amazingly, you can book a round-trip ticket, directly with Emirates, on this route for less than $900 USD… in first-class… any day of the year. Impressed yet? Read more from today's newsletter about how to score these high-class seats for very few points (with some Virgin Atlantic strategies sprinkled in there, as well).
