2024 International Conference on Ocean Energy was successful and productive for University of Adelaide researchers working on wave energy 🌊. We presented our work on control system development for Carnegie Clean Energy, on coastal protection using wave energy converters, and on potential for integrating wave resource into the national grid. Methane is the Dutch Oven of climate change, far worse than CO2 and escaping at every point of fracking and LNG production. How did anyone think this could go on ad-finitum? The U.S. regulation of the high-voltage transmission grid is highly complex and, as a result, generally poorly understood.
