Happy to note the Good News. Congratulations Mr Vivek Chaand Sehgal Sir, I never met this great personality. I had many interactions (~15-18 years back) when I was with Larsen & Toubro - Plastics Processing Machinery with his trusted lieutenant Mr Vivek Avasthi who had shared some Visions and Actions taken by their Chairman Mr Vivek Chaand Sehgal. His group's speed of responding is the most important quality I admire. Like his son & Vice Chairman Mr Laksh Vaaman Seehgal says follow the customers closely and react (I would recommend using the word respond) to the situations that happen around. Now Motherson Group needs to migrate into Industry 4.0 / 5.0 / 6.0 to become a major player (within the Top 3 by 2027-28) in the Global Automotive Suppliers Segment in three years. They have the ability, strength, and commitment from Top management for such a transformation. All the best.

I still cherish my interactions with him and working for Motherson Sumi in the initial periods of growth. As a chartered accountant, I learned the value of being ready to work on the shop floor by him. That's the way of grooming and motivating a young professional. Hats off to his vision and risk-taking ability. He served the workers by the dishes and even sat with them on the floor to eat, moving around to mingle with them and calling them by their names.
