🔊 Turn up the volume and watch the video of our CEO Andreas Enger on our first Aurora Class vessel 🔊 🚢 🍀 At Höegh Autoliners, we're not just setting new standards—we're transforming an entire industry. With our Aurora Class project, we've shown that when bold investments meet strong collaboration, even the toughest challenges can be conquered. But our journey doesn’t stop here. The finish line for a net-zero future is still ahead. By 2027, our vessels will be ready to run on ammonia, driving demand for sustainable fuels and setting the stage for a cleaner future. However, to make sustainable fuels the norm, we need the right frameworks in place—until cost parity with conventional fuels is achieved. This is the grand finale that will define the industry’s transition to net zero. We believe it’s possible. We've done our part, but decarbonization is a shared mission. Together, we can create the momentum needed to transform the future 🤝 ✅ The first Aurora Class vessels will initially run on LNG, with a 58% lower carbon footprint than the standard PCTCs in the industry. ✅ Our goal: Operating Aurora Class vessels on ammonia by 2027, driving us toward net-zero. ✅ We've signed Letters of Intent (LOIs) with leading ammonia producers, ensuring a reliable supply for our operations starting in 2027. ✅ Our crew has undergone specialized training for the past two years to safely and efficiently operate our Aurora Class vessels on both LNG and ammonia. The path to net zero is within reach—let’s get there, together. #NetZero #Sustainability #FutureOfShipping #AuroraClass (Video made by Playroom Event )

𝗖𝗘𝗢𝗡: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗳𝘂𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 As global shipping moves toward greener alternatives like #methanol and #ammonia, safety and efficiency have become top priorities. While these new fuels have the potential to greatly reduce the impact of shipping, they come with their own set of challenges. Methanol is highly flammable and corrosive, while ammonia is toxic and can be dangerous if not handled properly. That’s why real-time, continuous monitoring is crucial. At MAN Energy Solutions, we’re leading the way by not only designing cutting-edge engines for these alternative fuels, but also making sure our digital services, products, and platforms are fully synced with these innovations. Our systems keep a close eye on fuel conditions, pressure, temperature, and emissions, helping detect any issues early so they can be addressed before they become big problems. Our CEON Platform keeps vessels constantly connected to us, allowing for real-time diagnostics, remote support, and immediate guidance. And here's the kicker: everything we do on the digital side—whether it’s our services, products, or platform—is built alongside the new engine designs. It’s all integrated. This means smoother operations, less downtime, and safer voyages, no matter what fuel your vessel is running on. With MAN Energy Solutions, you’re not just getting state-of-the-art engines; you're also getting a full suite of digital tools designed to keep your vessel running safely and efficiently in this new era of clean maritime fuel. #WeMoveBigThingsToZero
