Update: As reported in The Times this morning, and after months of uncertainty, Felipe Massa has now officially issued legal proceedings against Formula 1, the FIA, and Bernie Ecclestone. Opting to bring his claim in London’s High Court. The claim arises out of an alleged conspiracy on the part of Formula 1 that saw Massa being denied the 2008 World Driver’s Championship. I will be writing more on this case and its broader implications as it develops.
