Founders : about valuation... Had a blast contributing to this PULSE session. 🔥 💰 At the pre-seed/seed stage: 1. An idea/company is worth nothing. Execution is where the value lies (when combined with a good idea, in the right market, at the right time) 2. Forget complex models and spreadsheets, a startup value is purely based on potential and investors' expectation of your ability to turn it into a success. There's no scientific method for that. 3. The method/reality: investors will invest x amount of money in return for an average 21% of your equity. Unproven founders with a risky proposal might have to give up 25% and successful repeat founders only 15%. 4. This means that the more you raise, the higher your valuation. So it's all about your credibility. Amounts raised at that stage typically range from 500k to 3m. Most rounds are in the middle. 🤑

PLDT Enterprise, it was such an honor to be a part of the top 10 startups!
