Ask any sales or marketing professional… Launching new products and building new territories is not easy. Over a year ago my husband, Dean Peaple , joined this company to launch a new division of window coverings. Through operations and production challenges, changes in leadership and the minimal marketing support common with ‘startups’ - my husband never gave up! I have watched him be tenacious and creative, using common sense, guerilla tactics, and teamwork- always finding a way. I know the road is long, - and I admire my husbands patience and perseverance. When you work hard and see a reward with a Win like this- you have to celebrate! Most of us are so busy doing the work we do- we forget to take time to celebrate the wins. It’s as easy as 123… 1. Take a moment to reflect on your wins 2. Be proud of your accomplishments, 3. Share your gratitude with those that helped you achieve your goals. Celebrate the Wins!
And the 2024 People's Choice Award for Product(s) I Would Like in My Home goes to Rowley Company! Congrats!

Sometimes just taking a deep breath and engaging in our playful sides is exactly what we need to reset and reengage in news ways in the business. Love this reminder Hayley that laughter, creativity, teamwork, and play can have a significant impact on our connections and our joy. #wellness #joy #teamwork #impact #BusinessPerformance
One of Transcend's team commitments is "Joy," and I truly experienced that during our Tri-annual meeting earlier this month. Jaci, Kevin, and Mike organized a scavenger hunt that included rollerblading, a gondola ride over Spokane Falls, and a merry-go-round ride - and those were just the first three stops! It was a fantastic reminder to embrace joy in everything we do… which is even sweeter when your team wins the competition! Special shout-out to Craig, Makenzie, and Kevin for that. 🥇 Here’s to more fun and memorable moments.

Friday Confession!! The only thing I really wanted to win was the hamper. 🧺 But watching others collect their trophies got me thinking - award season often overlooks the underdogs. Underdogs don’t always get the applause, but they have something far greater: - Grit to keep going. - Ingenuity to find solutions. - Quiet strength that uplifts others. Being an underdog teaches resilience, humility, and the value of hard-earned victories. Success isn’t just about the big wins; it’s about the journey and who you become along the way. So, here’s to: - Those who keep showing up. - The small triumphs that often go unnoticed. - The superpowers we all have, whether we see them yet or not. Fellow underdogs: wear it with pride. Let’s lift each other up, celebrate our wins, and help others see their greatness. Tag yourself if you are proud to be the underdog too! #underdog #salesawards

If you're like me, you want to make sure your team feels seen, valued, and appreciated but your mind is already racing to the next thing. Next time, try this: ⬇️ When you're finishing up a major project, take a few moments to recognize the people who really stood out and the overall team accomplishment. Incorporate short segments for recognition into meetings where you spotlight and appreciate people by highlighting their hard work and dedication in general but also calling out specific instances of going above and beyond. ➡️ It doesn't have to be fancy, but it should be meaningful. You'll likely find that taking time to celebrate is just as important (and healthy) for you as much as it is for your team.

More doors closing in retail and the people affected are staying positive and making the most of their time with each other 💖 That's what a retail family is all about. Please support the store managers, district managers, supervisors and the staff looking for work across the country. Your retail skills are valuable and absolutely transferable into almost any field. For anyone hiring here is a day in the life....You talk to anyone who comes in. You watch the KPIs and coach the staff to drive performance. You teach life skills to entry level employees and hold accountable grown adults. You multi-task like you have a legion of people in the building while really managing payroll to the quarter hour. You have difficult conversations and console your people with every day struggles in and out of work. You havetalk professionally and without judgment to individuals who lost their mind over a policy you can't change. You keep the place clean and visually gorgeous every day. And you do it all with a smile and an earpiece on. I see you. I support you. I am here if you want to comment, complain, or cry. That's what family is for. It is all about our people. #retail #love #thestruggleisreal #hiring
We got the news on Wednesday that our location is closing. I have to be honest I’m still in that denial stage… but the first thing that came to my mind was “ omg my people ! “ and how I was going to break down this news to them. It hasn’t been easy but my team and I came together and we decided we are going to make the best of it. We are going to celebrate all the small wins from now til our doors close and cherish all our moments together💫

Great example of how a team works as a single unit over a fairly long time frame. while they're celebrating 3rd anniversary in a new avatar, I have seen them working together as far as my memory serves - more than 10 years for sure. So, what's the mantra to stick together as a team for over a decade 1. Complete autonomy and sense of ownership. Decision making including very strategic ones such as partner selection is done with everyone agreeing to the same. 2. Total transparency - everyone knows everything about the company including access to the CEO's email ( not advocating this as a best practice though 🤣), but nothing can be a greater example of transparency 3. Direct and no nonsense communication style including arguments 4. Complete flexibility in working hours. Family priorities come first for everyone and other team members support the person who needs time away automatically. These are few of my impressions as an outside observer who has seen this team through ups and downs.
The winning team of D- Bright Minds( DBM) celebrates the 3rd Birthday of our Success Story with fun, frolic, full masti mood at Pondicherry...A beautiful team bonding stay at Pondicherry's lavish resort and beautiful beach makes the love of the team mates more fonder for each other....This dedicated team has been together for more than 2 decades as one unit and are taking DBM to greater heights every single day...Time to pamper ourselves...
