Our new poll indicates the Progressive Conservatives are heading into the final weekend of the Nova Scotia election with a massive lead over the Liberals and New Democrats. Support for the PCs, commanding in every region of the province, is at a level where a dominant seat count will likely follow. The issue for the Liberals is vote efficiency, with lower overall support more evenly distributed throughout the province’s regions. The opposite appears the case for New Democrats whose support, incrementally greater than the Liberals, appears more targeted. More: https://lnkd.in/ejBxvGDc #novascotia #nspoli #mrx

Research by MHP Group and published by The Mirror, has revealed that the Conservative Party is losing over 1,000 years of Parliamentary experience as a result of their 78 MPs standing down. This means a greater turnover than the 72 who stood down ahead of the 1997 election. That election led to a landslide win for the Labour Party and current opinion polls are suggesting a potentially similar result in July. The average length of service of a Tory MP standing down ahead of July's General Election is 15 years. Whilst the result of the next General Election is not yet certain, what is clear is that the Conservative Party will lose record levels of experience from their Parliamentary Party. The Conservative Party are going to have a significant task ahead of them to replace over 1,000 years of Parliamentary experience they will lose by the time of the General Election on July 4th. https://lnkd.in/edaUvTbD

Was pitiful to see many in Hollywood called into Oprah's hard hitting (wink wink) interview with Kay Kay to weigh in on how our "democracy" is at stake in this election and that President Trump will destroy our country, forgetting that he was already President and that we lived in Peace, Prosperity and Security during his presidency.

Victorian state Liberal opposition are the cause of Victorian state government failures, you have been perceived by the electorate as an infective opposition or an alternative government. Our thoughts Sarah Walker-Smith , not surprisingly resonate deeply with the values Anthropy UK and those we must see upheld in public service. It is indeed perplexing and troubling that individuals in positions of trust could consider placing bets on an election, regardless of but particularly if there is even a hint of insider information involved. I personally cannot even fathom out the nature of their mindset. Our society depends on the moral integrity and ethical behaviour of those who serve be they in a uniform or as political servants. It is now crucial that people and leaders generally, reflect on the lessons and commit to the highest standards of conduct. The Nolan principles provide a solid foundation for this commitment, reminding us of the importance of selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty, and leadership. Each party in this election should use this moment to reinforce these principles, ensuring that every public servant not only understands them but lives by them. Actions must serve as a beacon, restoring faith and confidence in our institutions.

I appreciate I am perhaps a tad naive, but it is utterly beyond me that parliamentary candidates, existing MPs or members of the police force supporting the prime minister honestly thought it was ok to place a bet on the general election in the first place, let alone IF they had insider information. Have we learnt nothing from the last few years? Time to refocus on the Nolan principles and ensuring that all of those in public service understand and adhere to them. #justsaying #nolanprinciples Compassion in Politics Jennifer Nadel FRSA #leadership
