Today, MHP Group agreed a partnership with the Medical Journalists’ Association (MJA) to become the only communications, marketing and policy agency partner, that can work with the MJA to offer their members exclusive on- and off-the-record media briefings (both in-person and virtual). But what is the Medical Journalists’ Association? The MJA, which was founded in 1967, has over 450 members including writers, broadcasters and editors from renowned outlets such as the BBC, British Medical Journal, Nature and The Financial Times. It exists to promote excellence in journalism and support its members with opportunities for professional growth and networking. Shaun Lintern, Health Editor of The Sunday Times and Chair of the Medical Journalists’ Association, explains more in the video below! #MHPGroup #HealthcareCommunications #HealthJournalism

We’re excited to share the news of our exclusive partnership with the Medical Journalists’ Association, a collaboration designed to connect you with over 450 health and science journalists to deliver healthcare news briefings. The collaboration will provide MJA members with access to media briefings exploring the latest developments in healthcare and life sciences from some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical, healthcare and research organisations. In addition, the partnership will deliver an annual lecture series. This creates a major new platform for health and life science leaders to address the UK sector’s biggest media influencers. Led by our Health Communications Director, Jaber Mohamed, this partnership reinforces our commitment to supporting accurate and impactful journalism during a time where clarity and trust are paramount. Shaun Lintern, Health Editor of The Sunday Times and Chair of the Medical Journalists’ Association, said: “Journalists are increasingly time poor, so connecting them directly with experts is a real benefit. This partnership will give MJA members special access to news briefings from industry experts, where they can ask questions and get a deeper understanding of stories straight from the source.” We’re looking forward to seeing the positive impact this will have on healthcare communications. Stay tuned for more updates! Read more here: https://lnkd.in/e63EFWSa #MHPGroup #HealthcareCommunications #HealthJournalism

Our Brand & Reputation and Digital team recently supported BAE Systems in bringing a fresh take on promoting apprenticeships to life on social. Seeing positive news about homeownership is a welcome change, especially for young people. Thankfully our team's research unearthed the insight that many of BAE System's sites can offer more than just a career, but support young people in hitting some of life's big milestones: 💵Apprenticeships mean earning while you learn, so no student debt to pay back 🏡They are based in places with great value for money when it comes to house prices 🔑Meaning they can help young people get onto the property ladder 📹To bring the data to life, our BAE Systems team put forward this MTV Cribs-inspired idea, which involved filming Alice in her home to talk about apprenticeships and her journey to becoming a homeowner. 🙌With a strong brief in hand, the BAE Systems social team executed a fantastic, socially-native video that shines a positive light on the potential of apprenticeships.
Meet Alice, who was kind enough to give us a peak into her crib 🕵️ Alice joined our apprenticeship program in 2018, and by the age of 21, she was already on the property ladder. Her story shows what’s possible when young people earn, learn, and build their future with us. Our apprenticeships do more than kickstart careers—they can be a direct path to early homeownership.
