🌟 New collaboration and the interview 🌟 We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Leaders without borders, a young and dynamic organization making waves in youth engagement! 🤩🤝 Their involvement in our initiatives is already adding incredible value and strengthening our impact. This interview was conducted under the project "Building Social Bonds"—a collaborative effort between three organizations: FERI Fundacja Edukacji, Rozwoju i Innowacji NGO Pozitivo Skopje and Leaders without Borders. 🌍✨ The project also includes the active participation of Energia dla Europy and A U T P O S T Academy, showcasing the strength of diverse perspectives in creating meaningful change. During a dynamic meeting, we focused on understanding the values of young people 🗣️💭 to shape our future actions. 🌍✨ Yesterday was the United Nations Day, which inspired me take a moment to celebrate the beauty of global connection. While the UN has its imperfections, it remains the only place where diverse nations come together under one roof to strive for a better world. Back in the day, organizing UN Day concerts at the General Assembly Hall in New York - sponsored by representatives from UN Member States such as China or Spain - demonstrated how music and arts can transcend borders and foster understanding among diplomats and audiences alike. This experience has been foundational to my work as a strategy consultant specializing in digital & organizational transformation, and collaboration. Navigating complex environments - from the sales and marketing in the luxury manufacturing sector to the global communications at the United Nations and business development & partnerships at a dynamic startup - has given me the ability to engage stakeholders globally, build ecosystems of alliances, and drive collaboration, operational agility, and innovation. Each transition has signified for me the importance of agility while also showing that it’s possible to find stability, even in the midst of change - much like my first unexpected sailing adventure to the Statue of Liberty, where trust and a willingness to learn guided me through uncharted waters, embracing the unknown. I owe much of my growth to the incredible people (some of whom I've listed in the comment section) who shared their insights and built bridges for me along the way. Their support has been instrumental in shaping my purposeful leadership, which is focused on guiding others through transformation and inspiring the integration of sustainability and social impact into profitable business models. I certainly hope to have inspired those I've encountered on their own career journeys, encouraging them to embrace change, growth, and the potential of collaboration. As Adam Grant wisely said: "In the past, people were hired and promoted based on ability. In the future, the more valuable currency will be agility." As I reflect on the UN Day, I celebrate the power of connection and the opportunity to continue building bridges, creating positive change and fostering ecosystems that drive collaboration, motivation to learn and the flexibility to change. We were also delighted to learn how Diversity Atlas, a data-driven tool, is being used worldwide for measuring and understanding diversity in organizations. October 24, 2024 marked the 79th anniversary of the United Nations. We were there to help celebrate and open up about our desire to contribute to the dire need to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. Next year we have 5 years left, and we are much behind the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This brings up the question: “What can we actually celebrate next year, this time, when it marks the 80th Anniversary?” We are not on track and need to accelerate what we can do together to achieve the Goals. We support the efforts of the United Nations, on a daily basis with the work we do as an Agency in collaboration with all of our Agents, the Members of our Collective, and our Clients. As of today the United Nations represents 193 Member States working together on four pillars: ✅ Peace and Security ✅ Human Rights ✅ The Rule of Law ✅ Development The last pillar “Development” aims ”to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom”. All development is ultimately about expanding human potential and human rights. ECOSOC is the organ that is associated with this aim, and directly linked to the Sustainable Development Goals. We have used the occasion of the 79th Anniversary to get in touch and to speak with them about how our work as an Agency and our Industry can contribute to a better performance towards the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. We are here to apply the advertising and communication Industries super powers to help make a difference in the World and get into a faster cruising speed towards the 17 SDGs. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all UN Member States in 2015, provides a blueprint for #peace and #prosperity for people and planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17SDGs, which are an urgent call to all countries, businesses, industries, and all people to get into action and work together to achieve these Global Goals. The SDGs are at the center of our work, and the work we do with our Clients.
