As the curtains close on another successful show, I reflect on the fascinating startup section at #GISEC. Energetic innovators from across the globe shared their stories, highlighting the many challenges they face in the cyber industry. One such problem that caught my attention was the issue of secure communication, which surprisingly remains unsolved. I was impressed by the many startups presenting solutions for secure communication on unsecure conventional channels, as well as the companies in the business halls taking pride in providing solutions for the same problem. It's inspiring to see the dedication and commitment of these innovators. One startup in particular presented a plug-and-play solution for post quantum adversarial sophistication in breaking conventional encryption. This is just one example of the exciting innovations taking place in the cyber industry.
