Start now - take small bites out of it. 2. Back plan it start from end of December factor in holidays, vacation, and any other time that may affect availability. Will you use these to make it happen? 3. Write the plan down check in at least 2 times a week with yourself. Are you moving the needle?

Sunday, 10a.m. The Merry-Go-Round Ride Oftentimes, if we are to observe closely, we often see people going for a merry-go-round ride due to range of emotions, due to fear and impatience. They may have a bad experience yet they may still willing to give it a try after some sugar-coating being done and given to them. Funnily enough, they may indirectly question your competency and reliability as a mask to cover up for their own fear and impatience. And oftentimes, choose to back out because it's not worthy to be in that merry-go-round ride. We want to keep people that trust our competency and reliability. Always remember that their bad experiences in life is not your problem and absolutely not your obligation to fix or to be responsible for it. You do not have to sacrifice yourself and taking up that responsibility, especially if they going to add in salt and spices into your reputation as well. Let it go and let those who got themselves in that merry-go-round ride to solve it themselves. Meanwhile, you get to secure your reputation as well, hopefully because time will tell and truth will reveal itself. Moreover, it's more feasible for those involved in the merry-go-round to solve it among themselves. Never leap into a merry-go-round just because you are thrown a peanut. A peanut means those involved in the merry-go-round may still prefer to be in that merry-go-round and you're probably just a sidekick, the more the merrier kind of situation.

As we head into the 4th of July holiday in the United States, and the heart of summer, many of us are taking some well-deserved time off. It's a great reminder of how much we value everyone's contributions that hospitality happen. We were reminded of a blog post we published a while back about creating "vacation heroes" – those individuals who go above and beyond to provide stellar customer service. It got us thinking about what we can learn from them. Whether it’s a cruise ship crew member who ensures your comfort or a server who finds a way to meet your dietary needs while delighting your palate, these heroes demonstrate the importance of a strong, supportive culture. Lou Gerstner said it best: “Culture isn’t just one aspect of the game – it is the game.” This holds true for any business. By hiring the right people and fostering a culture that prioritizes customer experience, we can create our own "heroes" who delight and impress customers every day. What lessons can we bring back to our own teams from these vacation heroes? Check out the full article for more insights: https://lnkd.in/gfcwdgVF Enjoy your holiday and remember to appreciate the heroes making your time off special! #CustomerExperience #CompanyCulture #VacationHeroes #Leadership #4thOfJuly

Two buns one stone today, and a double celebration. 🥳 It’s Cinnamon bun day here in Sweden, one of the best holidays ever invented if you too have a soft spot for buttery squidgy baked goodness 🥳 It’s my 3 year anniversary at Remote That means it was time for my annual pilgrimage to my local bakery to pick up a treat [or two… okay it was a special deal and I bought three, no judging 😂] and reflect upon my work and experiences. The last year has seen me shift my focus purely to existing business, partnering with a phenomenal team of Account Managers and Customer Success Managers to really get to know our customers and ensure they have the right solutions. It’s been a whirlwind of demos, decks and deep deep discovery 🪩 If I were to sum up my reflections in one word to describe the year that was and indeed where I still am it would be growth: 🚀Growing our product suite 🚀Growing our ability to meet customer needs 🚀Growing our way of working, and just growing up 🚀Growing our teams - so many new, fantastic SCs have joined 🚀Growing out my grey hairs and all-in on embracing this maturity business Growth isn’t too shabby a place to be, right?! So, happy Remot-a-versary to me, and looking forward to the year ahead for even more growth. LFG. #remote #remoteworklife #ichooseremote #growth #workanniversary

We recently had our twice annual company-wide week off at Butter 🧈 🔌📴🔕 What a breath of fresh air! 🌬️ It’s a whole week where the entire team takes days off, fully paid. We schedule these breaks during the quieter periods—once in the slow days of summer and again during the Christmas through New Year's stretch. It’s a great way to truly switch off as nobody is dependent on anyone checking their Slack or email. You’re guaranteed you’re not going to receive any urgent messages from anyone during this week and you can rest assured no one is waiting on you to respond. The way it’s set up lets everyone fully relax. Some of us doing customer support still peek in now and again for urgent issues, but fortunately most requests can wait till we’re back, fully recharged. 🔋 Makes so much sense for everyone to take time off at the same time! Synchronizing our downtime is a real game-changer for maximizing relaxation! Any other founders doing the same thing with their team? Let me know what other ways you’ve explored taking time off with your team!

Keep Your Eye on the Prize During times of celebration, our expectations - especially of ourselves - can become unrealistic. We often expect everything and everyone to be perfect, leaving no room for reality. The solution is simple: focus on what truly matters to you. Maybe it's capturing that rare family photo. Maybe it's simply having everyone together. When things go wrong, take it in stride. Perfect moments aren't realistic - and they're rarely what we remember anyway. Keep your eye on your prize and let everything else be what it is: perfectly imperfect. Happy Holidays! Dr. Beth ❤️
