HAPPY EUROPE DAY 2024 - UNITED IN DIVERSITY Today we celebrate #EuropeDay, the anniversary of the Schuman Declaration on May 9, 1950, put forward by Robert Schuman who proposed the pooling of French and West German coal and steel industries. It is wonderful to think that thanks to forward-looking men like Robert Schuman, Altiero Spinelli, Alcide De Gasperi, Jean Monnet, Joseph Bech, Konrad Adenauer, Paul-Henri Spaak together with inspiring women including Louise Weiss, Ursula Hirschmann, Simone Veil, Ada Rossi and Sofia Corradi, in a destroyed Europe due to the World War II, we have elaborated the vision of a united Europe that guarantees peace and prosperity for all and for future generations. This unity that allows us to live in peace is the result of a great collective will, and for this reason it is necessary to safeguard our common house, the #EuropeanUnion, with care, committing ourselves to passing on its values to new generations, being proud European citizens. “Europe will not be made all at once, or according to a single plan. We're delighted to share that our esteemed group of Egyptian managers arrived safely on Sunday, ready to embark on this enriching journey. Monday kicked off with a warm welcome event, where the participants had the opportunity to mingle and connect with one another, as well as meet our dedicated project manager, Maximilian Thomsen Thomsen, and our CEO, Dr. Kristian Kampfer. 🤝👨💼👩💼 To ensure a smooth transition into the German business landscape, we engaged in insightful discussions about expectations and provided an informative presentation on key aspects of German culture and business etiquette. The discussions were incredibly insightful, emphasising the profound impact of geopolitics on businesses. The event underscored the necessity of understanding international relations for the efficient functioning of companies, especially those operating on a global scale.
