Stages of #climatetechnology #innovation: emergence, deployment and large-scale adoption The path from conceptualizing climate solutions to making them widely adopted is complex and involves multiple stages. UNIDO’s approach highlights three key stages: Emergence – new climate technologies are developed and refined. Deployment – these technologies are implemented on a smaller scale to test their effectiveness. Large-scale adoption – proven technologies are scaled to create significant impact. 🌍📣Impactful climate communication is a vital skill for organizations and individuals who want to inspire the public to take action and advocate for the environment. The K3 Kongress zu Klimakommunikation was started in 2017 as a venue for sharing interdisciplinary knowledge and climate communication best practice in the German-speaking world. 🎓This year's edition will take place from September 25-26 in Graz, Austria. On day two, webLyzard technology Managing Partner Arno Scharl and Bettina Knoflach from Universität Innsbruck, will lead the workshop "Climate communication at a Glance. Reflecting on my own experiences, I've witnessed how digital tools can bridge divides, connecting people with different perspectives and resources. For instance, during a community project, leveraging platforms like social media allowed us to share insights and innovative solutions rapidly, showcasing how collective action can pave the way for meaningful change. The lesson here is clear: harnessing technology responsibly can enhance our capacity to address pressing issues, from climate change to health crises.
