Day : 9 How to Build New LinkedIn Connections ! Personalize Requests, Add a note explaining why you want to connect. Engage with Content, Like and comment on posts from potential connections. Be Genuine, Show real interest and appreciation in their work. Follow Up, Send a thank-you message and suggest a chat. Start expanding your network today! 🚀

Standing out on LinkedIn is like standing out on a busy street... • You wouldn't show up in your pajamas. • You wouldn't shout random things at strangers. And you definitely wouldn't hand out the same business card to everyone you meet. Yet that's exactly what many of us do on LinkedIn: • Generic "open to work" headlines • Copy-pasted connection requests • Random posts with no clear value & strategy Here's what actually works (from someone who's built a 100K+ network): The secret is being intentionally authentic. Just like in real life, people connect with people, not profiles. → Tell stories → Help others → Ask thoughtful questions → Share your unique perspective Be the person others want to grab a virtual coffee with. And remember... The busiest street corner isn't always the best place to make meaningful connections. Sometimes it's the quiet side street where real conversations happen. I removed over 100 connections from my network. Why? Because these were dead connections. → They weren't active → They were irrelevant to me → Their goals didn't align with mine Every time you connect with someone, you invite their posts/content into your feed. And every time they engage with your content, it pushes your posts into their connection's feeds. So, I have stopped accepting random connection requests. Because that's not building me a network. Instead, I consider these before accepting a request: 1. Are they my ideal clients? 2. Are they connected to people who are my ideal clients? 3. Am I getting something from their content- laughs, learnings, motivation, or inspiration? If none of these are true, I DON'T accept their connection requests. And you shouldn't either. They can still follow you, but you won't waste your time or attention on connections that do not support your goals. (4/28)

100 Connections! No Big Deal, Right? I mean, 100 connections? Pfft, totally not a big deal. 😏 But, just between us, I might’ve thrown a tiny party for myself when I hit it… Complete with confetti, a cake, And a very emotional victory speech to whom? Ofc my bestfriend. Sure, some folks have thousands of connections, but I’ve reached my first 100, and every single one of you is premium-grade awesome. So, while I wait for the LinkedIn algorithm to crown me as a networking genius, Let’s keep building this small-but-mighty network.
