Alternative narratives and metamorphic creatures are just some of the themes addressed in the "Fabulation" exhibition which opened on Friday 13 October 2023 at the Ex Macelli in Prato and saw the works of Simone Cariota, Maria Gomez and Miguel Justicia (Potro negro) on display. The intent of the collective is to immerse visitors in an uncertain and fluctuating place, exploring the potential of a possible alternative narrative through the construction of a space that involves bodies in listening to sounds and observing images not systematized. https://lnkd.in/dEbGVC26

Feliciotti gave a compelling example: "The leaves of the olive trees were transformed into soap by young people, and this soap, used in the #Sarnanospa became a cultural asset representing the contribution of an entire territory." 🌍Through initiatives like this, natural resources are elevated into meaningful assets, fostering dialogue, rediscovery of the #inlandareas, and integration of old trades with modern technologies. This approach not only contributes to sustainability but also supports a thriving #circulareconomy - bringing life to the EU’s new strategies for regional development. 🎭The #ImproLANDS project aligns perfectly with this vision by bringing #improvisationaltheatre to aid in the reconstruction of individual and community identity. Despite a 3% decline in sales, the art dealer sector navigated 2023 with resilience, facing political and economic challenges. Smaller dealers thrived with an 11% turnover increase, while larger dealers saw a 7% decline. In-person sales accounted for 44% of transactions, highlighting a shift back to direct gallery sales. Representation of female artists rose to 40%, and the average number of represented artists increased significantly. However, rising costs and variable demand affected profitability, with only 29% of dealers reporting increased profits.
