I still remember the thrill of creating my first simple webpage with HTML and CSS. "IF I am applying for a frontend developer position should I list HTML projects or React projects?" Was asked this question but figured I would also share it here incase others also are confused. Your HTML projects are used to help you learn to reach that next stage. Projects ONLY using HTML are not going to be very impressive to a vast majority of employers. If anything, it may make you seem more of a beginner than you are. Your react projects will be better suited to be displayed but here's the thing, Your projects need to be WORTH talking about and you need to write well about them. Writing "An e-commerce app built using React.js, tailwindcss, etc etc" doesn't tell anyone anything about your work. There is no incentive to even check it out or ask follow-up questions about it. But if your project is explained as "This project solves the logistical issues for inventory on hand for small e-commerce store owners by using an algorithm that automatically reorders inventory before it runs out to ensure product is always on hand but overbuying is not occurring."
