The mother couldn't feed her child because she has nothing to eat so she has no milk. A 60 year old man died of starvation. Children cry themselves to sleep out of hunger. It is so important that the images and videos coming out of Gaza does not become normal. There is nothing normal about watching thousands of children starve to death. Almost one million children is estimated to be internally displaced within Gaza and over 12,000 children have been killed. Here are 3 ways you can continue to make a tangible difference: --> Spread awareness. It's crucial that we don't stop talking about this atrocity. In the words of Susan Sarandon, "Our enemy is silence. The silence of those who look away when you see crushed children, starving babies, wailing mothers, fathers digging through the rubble to try to find their families.… No one is free until all of us are free. Free Palestine" --> Donate to humanitarian efforts by reputable organisations and people on ground providing aid. --> Continue to put pressure on government officials to advocate for a ceasefire. Children are our most important hope for the future. Children are always innocent. They are often the ones suffering the most in war and violent conflicts. Right now, there are more violent conflicts in the world than in a long time. Friends of mine from Lebanon, Palestine, Afghanistan and Ukraine report about the various forms of terror that hit civilians who are affected by the conflicts. For example, in Lebanon, only the last couple of weeks, 1/5 of the entire population has become refugees in their own country. It is easy to feel traumatized about the horrific things happening in the above countries and other countries in war. But a number of organizations are doing a fantastic job to help the affected people, refugees etc. I have been supporting Save the Children International since a long time and I think they are doing a great job in helping children to get safe, to handle traumas, to recover etc., and be given some kind of hope. There is always a possibility to help these organizations with varying types of engagement, or just by helping to fund their initiatives. (Reposting after fixing visibility settings) ACT NOW: A heartbreaking segment by CNN's Christiane Amanpour reveals the devastating impact of #Israel's deliberate war of starvation against #Gaza's civilians. Nothing justifies this. Children are already dying due to malnutrition, and all of Gaza's 1M+ children, those who survive, will bear the scars of war trauma for the rest of their lives. If you find yourself sympathizing but remain silent, this is the time to do something. Call/email your representative, join an organizing group, donate, and spread the word. We must all demand an end to this mad aggression, which is explicitly and tacitly condoned by our governments. We should also demand a surge of unimpeded humanitarian aid to enter Gaza, for those who committed war crimes to be held accountable, and an end to the decades-long injustices that breed violence.

Crisis in Lebanon: A Call for Urgent Action The ongoing war in Gaza is spilling over into Lebanon, leaving civilians in dire conditions. Thousands are forced into overcrowded shelters with dwindling resources—food, water, and medicine are rapidly running out. In Gaza and Lebanon, more than 40,000 people have been killed, a third of them children. With over 1,000 lives lost in Lebanon since last October, the urgency for a ceasefire is undeniable.
