What truly amazed me was the impeccable road infrastructure throughout the journey. The connectivity, road conditions, and ongoing development projects left me in awe. It's a testament to the tremendous efforts put in by the Road Ministry and the Odisha Government to make travel not just convenient but also enjoyable. The roads were not just well-maintained but also thoughtfully designed with: Clear and abundant signage: These guide travelers to nearby refreshment points, crucial turns, and alternate routes, ensuring everyone stays on track and fully informed. Safety measures: Ongoing construction and upgradation work aim to make roads safer and more accessible for everyone. Seamless connectivity: The smooth linkages between cities and landmarks like Puri and INS Chilka reflect strategic planning and execution at its best. The focus on modernizing the infrastructure is not only beneficial for travelers but also boosts regional development, making Odisha a beacon for tourism and trade. Q: Where to find antelopes in Bandhavgarh ? Ans: Nilgai (Blue cow / bull) is the most common large antelope whose sighting is common in Madhya Pradesh national park. They have good presence in Bandhavgarh. Similarly Indian Gazelle (Chinkara) is also having good presence in Bandhavgarh national park but during jungle safaris, most we don't see them or rarely find the Nilgai but Chinkara often remains away from sight. It is common experience. Reason behind this experience is our tiger centric approach which we book only high tiger density zones. Nilgai sighting is good in Magadhi zone (occasional), Dhamokhar zone (frequently) and Panpatha zone (frequently). For Indian Gazelle (Chinkara) sighting, we have to take a short tour on village outskirts of Guruwahi and Kuchwahi area.
