Today, on #WorldAIDSDay, I stand in with solidarity with all who is on the ongoing fight against HIV/AIDS, and the urgent need for global solidarity in ensuring human rights for everyone affected. As we honor the lives lost and support those living with HIV, we are reminded that this battle is far from over. People living with HIV/AIDS still face discrimination, stigma, and inequality barriers that prevent access to the healthcare, resources, along with adignity they deserve. We must continue to advocate for policies that prioritize human rights, healthcare access, and education. We must stand against stigma and discrimination in all forms, and create spaces where all individuals, regardless of their status, are treated with respect, empathy, and justice. Let's unite to create a world where healthcare is a human right for all, and where no one is left behind in the fight for health and equality. #HumanRights #EndStigma #AIDS2024 #HealthForAll #WorldAIDSDay #EqualityForAll #HIVAwareness #GlobalSolidarity #TalkAboutSudan

Today, on World AIDS Day 2024, we reflect on this year’s theme: “Take the Rights Path”. It is a powerful call to action, reminding us that safeguarding human rights is key to ending AIDS as a public health threat by 2030. To achieve this, we must: ✔️ Address inequalities and ensure access to care for all. ✔️ Challenge stigma and discrimination against people living with or affected by HIV. ✔️ Support community-driven efforts to protect health and human rights. The progress we’ve made in the HIV response shows that protecting rights is essential for protecting lives. Let’s recommit to creating a world where every individual has access to the care, dignity, and equality they deserve. #WorldAIDSDay2024 #TakeTheRightsPath #EndAIDS2030 #HealthEquity #HumanRights

At Fair Trade Tourism, we recognize the importance of inclusive, fair opportunities for all, especially those impacted by HIV/AIDS, in every community we work with. As we move forward, we remain committed to: 📚 Supporting initiatives that provide access to healthcare, education, and resources. ⚖️ Ensuring fair treatment and opportunities for all workers, regardless of their status. 🌍 Advocating for a world where no one is left behind, and where dignity, respect, and equality are fundamental rights. Food & Housing Insecurity are at the top of concerns for people living with HIV in Canada, that is why we need to: - stop diverting funding to the Canadian scientific research community, - stop diverting funding to the salaries and wages of the Canadian HIV industrial complex, - stop diverting funding to Universities and so called HIV think tanks and centres, - stop diverting funding and to the Canadian medical profession which has reduced services to the Indigenous community, HIV community, and LGBTQ community after COVID We need to get funds, food, and shelter into the hands and mouths of People Living with HIV ENOUGH IS ENOUGH #LAVA
