5 tons less trade show waste – that and a whole host of second-life stories are the result of our collaboration with TRASH GALORE! Whether it's Ceramitec, InnoTrans, WindEnergy, or Glasstec, Schunk looks back on a very successful trade show year. But the magic of trade shows often fades quickly, leaving behind tons of materials deemed waste—despite their potential to be valuable resources elsewhere. This is where our collaboration with Trash Galore comes in. The Leipzig-based company is dedicated to promoting a circular economy in the event sector. Their goal is to save materials leftover from major events like trade shows and concerts from disposal, giving them a second life in new and creative ways. ♻️ That's why we're happy to see our materials being reused in 15 fantastic initiatives and organizations! For example: 🌟 Schrott bewahre in Hamburg stores and distributes materials and makes them available for creative projects – giving the fabrics a second life!   🕊️ Cologne-based Taubenhilfe was able to use the chipboard to winterize its dovecotes, helping 3,500 pigeons survive the cold season.   🧰 In the open workshop of Nagel und Faden e.V. in Bavaria, a new kitchen was built from the residual materials.   🎭 Un-Label from Cologne used the remaining molleton to create a stage design for an inclusive theater play that has already been performed five times.
