It's disheartening to witness the ongoing struggle for workplace equality despite decades of women actively engaging across all sectors. From being called by only half of their name to being called by name of another colleague to facing dismissive attitudes, women encounter various challenges asserting their presence at the table. Advocating for their rights, women are sometimes labeled as aggressive or their concerns are brushed aside. #unconsciousbias #equitymatters #microaggression Addressing these issues consistently is crucial for current and future generations. This Women's Day, let's acknowledge the systemic barriers faced by women workers and recognize the transformative power of broad-based employee ownership. A study by Rutgers University from 2018 shows that employee ownership reduces both the wealth and income gender gaps. On average, women employee-owners have a striking 21.7 times more wealth than non-owner female employees. While not a cure-all, employee ownership represents an important step towards eradicating entrenched inequalities and creating a more inclusive economy! #WomensDay #EmployeeOwnership
