This phased approach ensures smoother adoption and maximized effectiveness. 2. First thought when you say credit union, is they are slow and lack on fancy tech stuff compared to other financial institutions. Credit unions are not only catching up, they are surpassing banks. They offer many services and will help you improve your credit, get you a mortgage, and even handle investments at a much lower rate. Listening to what services to offer is one of the better ways to reach out. Keeping their members for 20, or 30 years or more takes an extra step. And credit unions do it without charging more. Try your local credit union because unlike those online institutions, they have been in business for a long time. And you will speak to a human who works there. #save #invest #tx #usa #creditunion

"I really understood it was going to be hard to build a brand, and if you're going to build a brand, you need to build it on service." Mia D. When it comes down to it, financial administration isn’t only about numbers or transactions, it’s about people. Every deal, every decision can shape livelihoods, influence futures, and impact families. This is something Mia Drennan, founder of GLAS, understood from the very beginning When Mia started GLAS, she recognised a gap in the market. Too many financial services were reactive, disconnected, or simply lacking a personal touch. In the latest episode of The Delivery Space podcast, Mia Drennan shares the story behind building GLAS into a global leader in financial administration in an industry that often forgets the human side of transactions. Here are some nuggets from Mia’s approach: 👉 Service is non-negotiable At GLAS, every transaction is treated as a chance to build trust. As Mia puts it, “We’re only ever as good as our last transaction. This mindset ensures her team delivers to their best, knowing their client’s future depends on it. 👉🏿Understanding the stakes Whether it’s helping businesses restructure debt or supporting clients in times of financial uncertainty, GLAS ensures every interaction is handled with care, urgency, and expertise. 👉🏻 Empathy drives trust Mia’s leadership has fostered a culture where team members are empowered to act in the client’s best interest, even if it means going beyond the expected. About our guest Mia is one of the Founding Partners of Global Loan Agency Services Limited ("GLAS") an independent, non-bank, conflict free, provider of loan agency and trustee services with a particular niche in restructurings and special situations. GLAS is fast becoming known as a proactive, forward thinking, solutions provider who is readily able to step into "messy" situations and get the job done. Struggling to find skilled professionals in banking operations? You're not alone. In the latest episode of Wrestling Payments Podcast, Jaime Berg from Alkami Technology discusses the critical need for comprehensive education and training in banking operations and treasury management. Financial institutions often find it challenging to hire individuals with the necessary background and expertise. To bridge this gap, it's essential to develop management training programs that go beyond lending and focus on the operational aspects of banking. These programs can ensure a steady pipeline of skilled professionals ready to tackle the complexities of the financial sector. Key points discussed: ● The current lack of specialized training programs for banking operations ● The need to include banking operations in college curriculums ● How management training programs can help maintain a robust talent pipeline Jaime highlights, "It's easier to hire a banker, teller, or someone with an accounting or finance background and teach them treasury because they've got a foundation. It's building blocks on top of that." To dive deeper into this crucial discussion and learn more about the strategies for improving education in banking operations, listen to the full episode of Wrestling Payments at https://lnkd.in/dp7TWCQf. #BankingOperations #FinancialEducation #TreasuryManagement #WrestlingPayments #BankingIndustry #TalentPipeline
