Wine in a Box: It's convenient and eco-friendly. But what if we removed the cardboard to further reduce packaging waste? Did you know? • Cardboard packaging for boxed wine adds an extra 60-70 grams of weight. • Removing the cardboard could reduce packaging waste by up to 40%. • Bottles produce approximately 500g of CO2 per litre during production, whereas boxed wine generates about 150g per litre, making boxed wine three times more eco-friendly.
