NanoChronia, together with the Universitat Rovira i Virgili MINOS group and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya MNT group, has been awarded almost 1,000,000€ as part of the 2023 edition of the "Proyecto de Colaboración Público-Privada" by the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain and the Agencia Estatal de Investigación. The successful project, named "NanoGuard: Advanced Controlled Nanomaterials for Enhanced Methane and Hydrogen Monitoring," aims to develop a novel set of nanomaterials capable of detecting low and ultra-low concentrations of methane and hydrogen. These advanced materials will be integrated into sensor systems, providing an end-to-end solution designed to tackle current limitations in gas monitoring. The NanoGuard project will leverage cutting-edge nanotechnology and IoT technology to create a cost-effective, easy-to-deploy system suitable for field applications, aiming to revolutionize the monitoring of these critical gases and their fugitive emissions. We are thrilled to collaborate with our partners from URV MINOS and UPC MNT groups, combining our expertise to drive the development of this innovative technology. Our joint venture is set to address key environmental challenges, contributing to a safer and more sustainable future. We thank all team members and collaborators who made this possible.
