As a Quality Assurance Executive, I often find Myself in the intersection of Technology & Customer satisfaction. Here are a few thoughts I'd like to share: 1️⃣ **Quality is not an act, it's a habit** : In the world of QA, we don't just 'test' products. We cultivate a culture of excellence that permeates every level of the organization. 2️⃣ **The customer is our Polar Star** : Every bug we find and every improvement we suggest is with the end user in our mind. Our goal is to ensure that the customer's interaction with our product is seamless and enjoyable. 3️⃣ **Learning is continuous** : The tech landscape is ever-evolving. As QA professionals, we continuously update our skills and knowledge to stay ahead of the curve. 4️⃣ **Teamwork makes the dream work** : QA is a team effort. It's about R&D, QC, Production, and all other stakeholders working together towards a common goal - delivering a high-quality product. Remember, the pursuit of Quality is a Journey, not a Destination. Let's continue to strive for excellence in all that we do! 💪 #QualityAssurance #CustomerSatisfaction #ContinuousLearning #Teamwork #Foodtechnologist

Quality Manager - Trials and Tribulations Part 2 Spontaneous flow of emotions, silent tears and several attempts to resign are trials QA managers faces every now and then. All QA manager who have faced adversities, challenges, quality incidents that draws media attention and threaten the health and safety of consumers and weakens the brand image have one time or the other consider to resign as a last resort, while some continue to face the adversity with no retreat no surrender. It is okay sometimes to leave when the ovations are very high than to be asked to leave summarily. In the heat of issues the quality manager feels the greatest hit from getting summoned by the HR, to getting to review with the management team. You prepare power point presentation slides at the shortest possible notice as events are Spontaneous and time dependents. At that point the issue becomes mostly your cross as you begin to troubleshoot with the team as well as other colleagues from other departments. During your presentation with the management team you are scrutinised at that point significantly it is believed the issue is governance issue which solely lies with the QA manager of the facility. If a pulse check is done I can almost say or predict most QA manager will prefer to switch or change roles in the height of a big issue. The marketing team will say they are not making sales because of quality issues in trade which may not be true but a way to push away their shortcomings to the quality manager. Yes you get to a point where you have everything under control and enjoy years of peace with minor issues here and there but that can change in a moment and the serenity dissapears like a puff of smoke. If you can manage your emotions there is every likelihood you will weather the storm and succeed as a Quality manager. But there are days you will break down, get discouraged especially when you are not appreciated enough, your experience and skill set is not recognised because of a Quality incidence. "Think again if you still want to be a Quality manager " . I will encourage you to choose to be because it is worthwhile in the long run. Alot have survived it so you too can Thank God It's Tuesday

🌟 A Day in the Life of a Quality Manager at GNN Group 🌟 Hello, LinkedIn community! Today, I’d like to share a peek into what my day as a Quality Manager at GNN Group looks like. Every day is an opportunity to uphold our commitment to quality, drive continuous improvement, and ensure excellence across the board. 🔍 Morning Routine: Setting the Stage for Quality My day begins by checking any open tasks or meetings scheduled for the day. I then connect with the Operations team to see if any deviations or claims have been reported. This helps me prioritize tasks and ensure that any issues are addressed promptly and effectively. 📝 Late Morning: Documentation and Review Late morning is dedicated to documentation. I review and amend any necessary documents and ensure all deviations or claims are properly documented. Accurate reporting is crucial for maintaining our high standards and identifying areas for improvement. 🍽 Midday & Early Afternoon: Reflection, Evaluation, and Planning After a quick lunch break, I focus on reflecting and evaluating the reports from the morning. This includes assessing the consequences of any deviations or claims, creating a training plan for the team, and conducting supplier evaluations. Risk management and evaluation also take center stage as I work to mitigate potential issues and ensure our operations run smoothly. 🔄 Late Afternoon: Continuous Improvement and Scheduling As the day winds down, I focus on creating Continual Improvement Processes (CIPs). I prioritize these initiatives based on their importance and create a schedule to ensure timely implementation. These CIPs are key to driving ongoing excellence within the organization. Being a Quality Manager at GNN Group is a rewarding role that requires attention to detail, strategic planning, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Every day, I strive to ensure that we not only meet but exceed our quality standards. #QualityManagement #ContinuousImprovement #RiskManagement #GNNGroup #Leadership #SupplierEvaluation #OperationalExcellence

**What’s it like to be a Quality Manager?** "It’s all about paperwork and meetings." Sure, if by 'paperwork' you mean deciphering hieroglyphics, and by 'meetings' you mean navigating the Bermuda Triangle of decision-making. Being a quality manager is one of the most challenging roles in a company. Here's why: 1. **Balancing Act:** Imagine riding a bike while holding a stack of plates. No room for error. 2. **In the Spotlight:** Every product defect and issue draws immediate attention to Quality. 3. **Constant Change:** The job is never done. Continuous monitoring and improvement are daily routines. 4. **Conflict Referee:** Resolving issues between departments feels like mediating a debate between a cat and a dog. 5. **Data Overload:** Managing massive amounts of data daily and ensuring accuracy is a constant challenge. 6. **Compliance Pressure:** Keeping up with changing regulations is like running a marathon with a moving finish line. 7. **Crisis Resolution:** Balancing immediate fixes and long-term solutions is a daily task. 8. **Customer Expectations:** Meeting high customer expectations for quality and reliability adds another layer of pressure. 9. **Supplier Management:** Ensuring suppliers meet quality standards requires constant vigilance and coordination. 10. **Training and Development:** Continuously training employees on quality standards and practices is a never-ending task. 11. **Innovation Demands:** Implementing new technologies and methods to improve quality while managing risks. 12. **Emotional Resilience:** Handling the stress and emotional toll of maintaining high standards and dealing with issues calmly. Truth be told, we often lose sleep to make it all happen. So next time you think about pointing fingers at Quality, better invite us for a coffee and ask how you can help! 🙏 My fellow Quality Professionals, what do you think? 💡 ♻ #Quality #QualityManager #BehindTheScenes
