We are proud to announce that our bid for the NHSE Operating Department Practitioner workforce reform tender has been agreed. This will guide the development of the ODP workforce nationally in collaboration with key partners: University of Leeds Medical Institute University of East Anglia College of Operating Department Practitioners This project aims to Reframe, Reenergise, and Revitalise the ODP profession, focusing on: ✅ Increasing workforce supply ✅ Developing pre-registration and preceptorship pathways ✅ Enhancing the educator workforce ✅ Career development frameworks ✅ Promoting EDI and professional leadership This milestone cements CCCU’s position as a national leader in ODP education and workforce development.
