𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗘-𝗪𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 Uganda Energy Credit Capitalisation Company (#UECCC) in collaboration with #NEMA and the National E-waste Steering Committee has organised a stakeholder engagement workshop at Sheraton, Four Points, Kampala to discuss; (i) Operationalization of the e-waste management measures under EASP;  (ii) proposals to strengthen policy and regulatory frameworks for waste management in Uganda and  (iii) share best industrial practices in E-waste management. Currently data indicates that batteries and solar equipment e-waste are the highest in Uganda with a figure of 32%. The e-waste stakeholders engagement workshop is supported by the #WorldBank through the Electricity Access Scale-up Project (EASP).
