Very interesting research on occupation health and employment concerns for women in the mining industry. Many of these factors, including maternity leave and childcare benefits, greatly affect women involvement in the industry. It's great to see research and developments made to diversify and improve access for women and families in these areas. #womeninmining

As I prepare for today’s panel discussion, I’m reflecting on the role of strategic foresight and future thinking. It’s not about predicting the future, but about being ready with the right tools and strategies to adapt to changes. In today’s mining industry, this forward-thinking approach is more important than ever. If you’re attending Electra Mining Africa and want to explore the role of foresight and future thinking, feel free to reach out. The female face of mining! In an industry traditionally dominated by men, it's crucial to recognize and celebrate the growing impact of women in mining. While women represent only 8 to 17 percent of the mining workforce, their contributions are invaluable, especially in aggregate mining, which plays a vital role in building the infrastructure we rely on daily. https://lnkd.in/gwfAED7e
