Did you know? The German hotline of Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle Multimedia-Diensteanbieter (FSM), INHOPE’s hotline of the month, accepts reports other than CSAM. People can report other content potentially harmful to minors, or content which violates human dignity. In 2023 alone, FSM received 9,821 of these reports. The hotline aims to reduce problematic content children and young people might come across online, adhering to the German youth media protection regulations. 📢Big news: We’ve just been featured in the most recent edition of the JUSTICE TRENDS Magazine, with first-hand accounts of project partners and first-line practitioners from the R2COM Network!   In this insightful piece, and through the words of professionals in the fields of post-release support and radicalisation prevention, we discovered how the project helped to:   ➡Build awareness to the phenomena of radicalisation and extremism in post-release settings, and the paramount role to be played by civil society   ➡Discover and implement evidence-based and innovative methods and techniques towards sustained integration, mitigating vulnerabilities, and building strengths  ➡Share experiences, practices, and knowledge, uncovering similar challenges and co-joint solutions/information sharing In the words, of our project partner Robert Orel: “R2COM is a timely and needed project equipping CSO actors across Europe to engage in the post-release reintegration of VEOs. Lots of conversation at NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association Fall Conference about funding and regulatory in the industry. Whether it’s USF, ACAM/E-ACAM, BEAD, or any number of other issues that are in flux, it’s on the minds of community based BSPs. This week, FSMTB is proud to have co-hosted the National Convening: Human Trafficking in Illicit Massage, along with The Network, the National Association of Attorneys General, and LETAC USA. January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month, a vital time to shed light on human trafficking in illicit massage—one of the most prolific and misunderstood forms of human trafficking in the United States. This two-day gathering brought experts together to collaborate on solutions, enhance understanding, and share best practices to combat this pressing issue. Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery that often exploits gaps in oversight, licensing, and education. FSMTB remains dedicated to upholding standards and protecting the integrity of massage therapy regulation.
